Topic: Any PC engine / turbo grafx collectors out there?

I try my best to be an avid collector of the pc engine, and I've got quite a number of games... but newer games seem to get all my money at the moment!

However, the PC engine is a great little system, yes there are ALOT of shooters on the system... but who doesn't like shooters right?

just made me wonder are there any collectors amongst the Nintendo Life forums!

Yes the PC Engine is an amazing machine. I own the classic white one with 20 odd games and love playing Chew Man Fu, Bonk, Jackie Chan & R-Type.

It is a shame that this amazing machine does not get much love outside Japan.

@Akuza89 This is a system I had no idea even existed until long after its release. I never even heard of it back in the 90s. Admittedly I was a kid and we didn't have internet in my house until like 2002 but none of my friends or classmates had one, I don't remember ever seeing it in stores either.

I own a Pc Engine (1st model, the white and Red one) and a PC Engine DUO-R.
They're both modded to output pure RGB signal and it's just awesome.

Probably my favorite console ever (The DUO-R because of HuCards + CDs).

We were lucky here in France because we had "officially" a distribution for the PC Engine consoles and games. The company was called SODIPENG, stands for "SOciété DIstributrice de Pc ENGine".
We even got commercials in video games magazines etc...
