LulzSec has now hit Xbox Live and posted usernames, passwords and even their Facebook information with passwords as well. There is even speculation that PayPal information was stolen as well. Not good, and start changing passwords if you have an XBLA!
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
No, they are doing it for the lulz, but it's not funny anymore. If Microsoft was hacked and they don't come clean it's bad news. There's not much love for Sony right now, but at least with the PSN, you had the fact that it was a free network as an excuse.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
They are doing it to show people that thier security needs better.
That's what they want people to think. But I think they just enjoy hacking corporations (while posting user emails and passwords online, let's not forget) and the sense of self-importance that comes from it.
I wonder what these hackers are trying to prove? Are they doing this, just because they can? or just to hurt people?

It's because the more they hack passwords, the greater their e-peens grow - clearly (on reading their "press" releases), their intentions aren't completely benevolent.
