Topic: why is it

why do i get the feeling that i betray nintendo when i buy a game for my sony ps3? the more i read about stuff like madworld having hardly any sales, the more i feel i am to blame. i haven't even bought grand theft auto for the ds yet. even though i like both systems i have been focusing to much on ps3 games this year. E3 was awesome for wii and ps3 owners so this time around i'm going to make sure that i support both companies equally. what do you guys think?

Does it matter? I own a 360 and a Wii and I get the games I enjoy. I don't say "Well, the last two games I bought were Xbox 360 games, so now I'd better buy a Wii game to keep up."

I did buy a a number of Dreamcast games out of loyalty way back when the DC was getting stomped month after month by the PS2, and I can tell you it's not really the way to go.

Don't feel like you're betraying them. As long as you still buy any of their games, they can still manage just fine, right?

...That being said, whether or not Sony's accessory from this year (didn't catch the name?) is a success or failure all depends on the retail price, IMO. Otherwise, the only success they had at E3 was purely third party.

i'm not excited about sonys motion controls at e3. nintendo has already done this and sony should just stick to what they are good at. but then again it could turn out ok.

the real reason madworld did so bad is this was a FAMILY marketed system, so nintendo figured with all the millions of wii's out there theyd make enough profit from a game like this but the fact is that most mature gamers are into the more powerful systems and thus are spending their money on these epic games which most of us would rather play then madworld (gears of war 2, god of war 2, halo 3 etc.)so for now it seems like alot of games will be overlooked on the wii which isnt right cuz personally i really liked mad world, the art style worked well and wasnt confusing at all, and the announcers have sum pretty good lines until they repeated themselves to death, but regardless it is a fun game which ppl should at least give a chance but maybe the wii will have more luck with the conduit and upcoming ghostbusters game (which im looking forward too) but im also trying to get my hands on an xbox 360 so nintendo, you guys better stop licensing these shitty ass family games that i doubt ANYONE, even families, ever buy and start limiting the amount of third party crap that is out there or soon i will just invest in the xbox 360 as there are a ton of games ive never had the oppurtunity to play the entire game
