Topic: What is your favorite Gaming Console and why?

Now, with this topic, I would like it if people wouldn't bash another console. Just post what your favorite is and why.

This can be any console, too. Both home consoles and handhelds. If you like the Wii, go ahead. If you liked the Sega Saturn, be my guest. If you liked the Atari 2600, its all yours.

Personally, my favorite gaming console is the 3DS. There are so many options with it such as 3D, Streetpass, and Swapnote. I also love how the online is for games like Mario Kart 7. And this is just from me being an Ambassador, but I also love being able to play NES and GBA games on it. The Virtual Console is nice, too.

N.E.S (nintendo entertainment system):
my brother had this console and was the first one i played that introduced me to video games
had so many great games for it
the gameplay was the selling point of games back then, moreso than graphics

For best console, the Wii. Not only does it have some of my favorite games of all time, but all of them are very innovative and offer new ways to play them unlike, say, the N64.

For best handheld, I'd probably choose the gameboy advance. Not only can it play the gameboy, gameboy color, and gameboy advance games, but it has my favorite design out of any handheld (Micro).

either 3DS or Wii.

Super Nintendo, because it was so super and awesome. Turtles, Mario, and the birth of F-zero? Yes, best console, easy!

As of now, 3DS. The way it's slowly become an amazing system over the course of the year to the point that I don't even have the time or money to play all of the games for it that I'm interested in is nothing short of awesome. I already have some all-time favorites for the system, and after less that a year that's really something to be proud of.

3DS. When Smash Bros. comes out for it (and WiiU), best handheld ever for me.

Has to be the PS3 now. A few years ago it wasn't anywhere near my favorite, but now it is on nearly everyday. The amount of great games on the system, both first party and third is staggering.

For me Sega Dreamcast. why? well im a fan of arcade games and this console was awesome for them.

The PS3. A mixture of the best gaming controller out there, amazing games (not to mention all those PS1 classics available), and the fact that I can use it as a media-player-like device puts it at the top spot for me

A tie between the PS2 and DS, since they both have the best RPGs ever.

Ever - N64 (Mario Kart,Goldeneye,the best wrestling games ever made and one of my favorite controllers.)

Now - PS3 (All of the big 3 out right now have their pros and cons for my money I feel PS3 is the best.)

Best Console: SNES. They had the best all around games. From everything to great RPGS like Final Fantasy 3, Chrono Trigger and Earthbound to great platformers like Super Mario World, and Earthworm Jim to great arcade ports like NBA Jam, Street Fighter II and Turtles in Time.

Worst Console: PS3. Not to bash any system, but IMO after the PS2 the PS3 was a let down. It was over priced for the longest time and all the games that I wanted to play were also available on the Xbox 360. Also the fact that they took out the backwards compatibility for PS2 so early in production was another downer for me.
