Topic: What game will be game of the year?

Yeah metalmario how do you know. It is definitely going to be uncharted 2 or cod 6 nsmbw will probably be number one in wii but that isn't saying much probably 20th or 30th in all systems

I kinda don't care as I have my own tastes which often clashes with the majority of media sources.

Still, Wii sports resort make a pretty solid mainstream wii choice.

I'm not sure how anyone that has played Uncharted 2, would not vote it for Game of the Year.

The only thing that's even remotely a problem is the matchmaking, which seems to take joy in making the matches as uneven as possible.

I swear everyone ranks 20 and up are ALWAYS on the opposite team. It's amazing I do somewhat decent.

dj hero or cod 6 for multisystem

@AlexSays: I had that same problem in the multiplayer beta a few months ago. You'd think they'd have fixed that.

I don't go online with games if I don't have at least one friend to play with. If anybody wants to play Uncharted 2 sometime, just send me a message on PSN!

whats so special about uncharted 2? I haven't played it but from videos doesn't look like anything especially interesting.

@Stuff.... Im definately up for playing some Uncharted this weekend as I will have the main game beaten by then.

@AlexSays.... I do think Uncharted 2 will get GOTY, BUT Arkham Asylum was a new IP on a existing francise and that gives it a LOT of credit on my end..... Uncharted 2 will definately win though.

@jbrodack...... play it and you will understand. Videos are one thing, You play the first hour and you will understand.

I'm going to have to agree with Jbrodack. My personal tastes in games seems to be vastly different from many others'. My personal GOTY choice will not fall in line with the choices of many others. But, it is still fun to see what gets nominated and whatnot.

the mutiplatform will most likely be MW2 but it doesnt deserve it in my book.(cant really judge yet) But i think it should go to Dragon Age: Orgins. I mean i'm not that into fanasty but i enjoy LOTR and zelda so this is prosming. Plus on day one the game comes with an expansion pack(bigger then mass effect's bringing down he sky),and a token for a battle suit that can be used in Dragon Age or Mass Effect 2. all thisin the normal edtion of the game should win

as much of a ninty fanboy i am, uncharted 2 will most likely beat nsmbwii and any 360 game for goty!

New Super Mario bros. Wii. Although I've never played Uncharted 2 ( which I heard is a great game).

@RandomWiiPlayer: I keep forgetting that's releasing this year. It's so close to the deadline, after all. Consider it added to the list, though I wouldn't vote on it without playing it (sounds too weird for me to really get a grasp on).

I really think if it realeases in December it should go to next years vote. Dont forget guys Killzone 2 is in the running as well. I dont overly care for it but a LOT of people did.

I'd prefer to run by a strict "calendar year" rule. Since I'm the one thinking about setting up a serious voting thread in a few months, I think my say is what matters on this point. Unless YOU want to do it, Slappy?
