Thinking about getting this game for my 360. Is it worth about 30 bucks? (unless you know somewhere I can get it cheaper)
I also have a question, and you have to forgive me since I'm not big on online games and don't know much about them (I am a first party Nintendo fan after all), but if he has the PC version, can I play against him on the 360 version? Was not sure if that's how it worked but I'm pretty sure it's not with that game anyway. Just thought I'd ask (I know I look stupid to some of you all).

If you're a Transformers fan, then you'll probably enjoy the game a lot. You get to play as a bunch of different 'bots, and the voice acting is top-notch. As far as I know, there is no cross-platform play, so you would have to have the same version as your friend.
Ah. Well that's ok about the online thing. I wouldn't have done it much anyway.
I'm sure I'll enjoy the game, I've just got a lot of Zelda playing going on right now and not sure if I should pick up something else. I hate it when I start three Zelda games I've already beat at once just for extra playthroughs. haha. I always had too much Zelda gaming on my plate when I do that, and hate to just quit on one of them.
Anyway, I did enjoy the first game in this series, and this one looks to be maybe a little bit better even. Also, I know there is sadly no co op, but is there any form of local only multiplayer?? I'd like to play with my wife a little but I don't want to play against people online.

I believe that the co-op was taken out except for Escalation mode. It's a little bit disappointing coming from the first game, but the campaign has been improved so there is a pay-off.
Sadly there is no split screen. It's a great game though, espcially if your a Transformers fan. Each of the characters feel like they should rather than being the same like in War for Cybertron. It's a lot of fun when especially when your playing as one of your favorite characters.
I bought the game for $60 the day it was released and thought it was worth every penny. I'm a big Transformers fan and I'm also a fan of a good third person shooter. I feel like the developers delivered a good modern day game and did a great job tapping into all the Transformers nostalgia. If you're a fan, definitely buy this.
hmm...even though everywhere else has the game for about 30 bucks still, the Microsoft Store online has it for 20 ($19.99)....Seems legit to me! I may get it from there! (unless someone knows why it may be cheaper there...)
