Sam and Max are AMAZING. The first season is kind of crappy to me now because the other two seasons blow it away, IMO.

I bought Trackmania: United Forever. Terraria and now this. I'm eager to fling myself down bottomless pits.

Actually I'm the opposite. I loved the heck out of season 1 because it's so typically Saturday morning cartoon-like. It's down to earth, bitingly contemporary, full of wonderfully zany Americana and fits in well with the rest of the Sam & Max universe. The second season was great too, though some of its episodes were a little hit-and-miss. (Although the vampire and alien segments more than make up for this.) IMO the third season strayed too far from the series' roots by taking itself more seriously (in presentation at least), but it was still good. I got a bit bored during episode 2 (The Tomb of Sammun-Mak) and I stopped there for the time being.

That said, the graphics and controls improved greatly after season 1 and going back to that from season 3 does feel like a step backwards.

I grabbed Farcry 2 as well. At least now I don't need to get the Xbox 360 version.

P.S. If anyone is buying Frozen Synapse, I would be willing to receive the extra copy. Just saying...

Evil Genius is 50% off today. It's a dungeon management sim like Dungeon Keeper, except with a Bond-esque 60s spy aesthetic. Definitely worth $4.99 imo.

Also whoa, Frozen Synapse looks interesting.

P.P.S. If anyone is buying Frozen Synapse, and desperately wants someone to take the extra copy off your hands, KING NAVI would be willing to receive the extra copy. Just saying...

Hey, if anyone here plays a lot of GoldSource multiplayer gaming, I'm going to start doing custom sprays for people. Just hand me an icon, and i'll convert it into a spray. just ask, and i'll make it. and if you can't decide, i'll do the occasional pack of random sprays. I'm thinking of doing a spaaaaaace one soon.

Samorost2 for $2 is the daily deal. I already got it from the Humble Indie Bundle, and though I've barely played it, I think it's probably worth the price.

im looking for a new steam game, anyone got any suggestions i like most genres. games i have right now are super meat boy and tf2 and i play a fair amount of LOL as well as starcraft Mass effect 2 (i know theyre not steam but what the heck)

@smithers If you're looking into ridiculously challenging games, VVVVVV might do the trick. It's a game where you can't jump, but you can change the gravity. While it's brutally hard, it's also quite fun and different.
