@Ravage I assume you were playing the alpha/beta right? While listening to some let's plays on Youtube I believe the high monster spawn count was something that the team was going to address for the full release.

Well, I just watched the trailer for Inside a Star Filled Sky. i'm interested.
The game is really weird. It is really deep, but not really gameplay-wise. just check out some impression on youtube. I think TotalBiscuit did one or something. [youtube:_2nrf6tKago]
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.

The daily deal is Majesty 2. Never heard of it Worms Reloaded is the midweek madness.
Also, I bought Beyond Good and Evil from gog.com because that version is supposedly more stable than the Steam one. gog.com seems like a pretty good site to use, surprisingly.
The Duke Nukem Forever demo is also coming soon, and I have an unused code for the demo access if someone would like it. I got my code from when I bought Borderlands GOTY, and I'm not interested in getting Duke Nukem anyway.
Never bothered using it before. Not as good of a selection either, but I may use that site again eventually.
"Not as good of a selection"? It has Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, Arcanum, Heroes of Might and Magic III, Fallout 1 & 2, Earthworm Jim 1 & 2, the Oddworld series, Alone In the Dark, Master of Orion, The Longest Journey and Beyond Good & Evil and you say the selection is not good? They specialise in old games (hence the name GOG). I guess if you have no interest in older games then that's understandable. But you're not gonna find Modern Warfare 2 on there, that's for sure.
It has acclaimed classic games updated for compatibility with Windows XP, Vista and 7.
It has no DRM at all. You won't find that in any other digital store.
They're good to their users. When you buy games from them you get a ton of goodies related to the game (e.g. PDF manuals, soundtracks, wallpapers, "making of" videos, etc).
Its support team is responsive and its staff actively take part in its community. They also run editorials on old games, including interviews with their original developers.
Some of the games available there used to be virtually impossible to find.
Its prices are low and it has frequent sales on top of that.
It has fair prices worldwide. Everyone pays the same amount, regardless of their region.
@irken Also, your Portal 2 icon may be like that because Valve didn't include that icon for the game yet. I don't have access to my Steam client so I can't check if I see that too. Maybe they're thinking of removing the grid view altogether?
@irken Hmm, looks like a glitch occurred when downloading your game images then. It downloads the images every time you start Steam, and if it can't download the image it just uses the placeholder icon and text. (That happens in offline mode IIRC.) It might be resolved if you restart your Steam client.

I'll give that a try and see if it works. And I'm not saying gog has a bad selection, they're just ones that I wasn't too interested in =/
And the daily deal is truck-hauling simulator. Maybe I need to set my expectations much lower for these daily deals. =P
