@Octane Nope. Human Revolution and now Mankind Divided (which is set 2 years later) are both prequels to the first two games anyway. Mankind Divided even has a recap video (it's on youtube too) for Human Revolution. All you really need to know (so '11 spoilers I guess) is that Hugh Darrow, the regretful progenitor of human cybernetic augmentation, set off an update that turned nearly all of the augmented people in the world into murderous rage monsters for a good bit. Protag Adam "I didn't ask for this" Jensen stopped it on this huge oceanic instillation built to combat global warming, Panchaea, before it was destroyed. He got fished out of the Arctic Ocean and is now a counterterrorism agent. The whole "robots murdering people" thing is now known as the "Aug Incident" and people aren't too happy about it. Cue title screen!
@WebHead One last TLG push probably. Hopefully some Gravity Rush too. I'd like to see more of Days Gone as well, but I think that won't happen until PSX. Oh, and new games of course. Last year had plenty of surprise announcements during the latter half of the year, I hope this year will be even better.
@Octane I think PSX might make more sense for Gravity Rush 2. Even if it's after the launch date, the more space you can give it after Final Fantasy XV the better.
@Octane I'm sure it'll be at TGS, but I don't see what good marketing will do with the week it ended up with. Anyway, I don't think it's as launch-dependent as normal AAAs.
@Haru17 Gravity Rush 2 wasnt going to be a multi million seller to begin with. I'm sure that there's a dedicated fan base that will get the game regardless of the other games that will be available during that week. We've had multiple big games release at the same time in the past, sure, there's always competition, but I think it should be fine.
I played the demo of the 2000 game. Does that count? I mean, it was a total mess, and I had no idea what I was doing, it kinda seemed like I needed 5 hands just to play it....
Ten years ago, as a college student, I would have gladly purchased and played the new Deus Ex however, ten years has changed me and I would much prefer to play the likes of ABZÛ, Bound, Hyper Light Drifter, No Man's Sky, Alone With You and INSIDE than a big blockbuster game like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Not to say that it isn't a good game, just that I like short(er) and unique little games these days.

Yeah, College is pretty good at breaking your spirit like that.
