All the references I could find in the Wolverine teaser to his comics history and connection to Insomniac's Spider-Man
Radio show playing the song in the bar is called Radio Midtown 1048 FM. This is actually a double reference because Midtown could be referring to Midtown Madripoor for reasons I'll explain later, while "1048" is a possible allusion to Earth-1048, the official reality designation for the Insomniac Spider-Man universe within the Marvel Multiverse, which was named as such in the comics event Spider-Geddon in 2018
The cash register has the billing of $19.74, referencing 1974, the year which the Wolverine character was created
The chalkboard near the top names this bar as "The Princess Bar", a bar owned by Jessica Hoan, otherwise known as Tyger Tiger, who runs this bar as part of a family business as revealed in the Wolverine story "Madripoor Nights" by Chris Claremont and John Buscema. She's also affiliated with the Hoan National Bank and is an overlord over the Triads of Madripoor, in addition to being associated with other characters such as Gambit, a fellow Marvel mutant character
There's a license plate near the right of the screen that has the code "HLK 181", which is abbreviation for "Hulk 181", homaging the fact Wolverine made his comics debut in issue #181 of The Incredible Hulk as a hired assassin sent to take out Banner
There's a tourism advertisment for Madripoor to the far right as well that's slightly cut off from being fully displayed due to the aspect ratio of the trailer
That's all I can find for now but I'm sure there's more.

The lack of backwards compatibility is what leads to this focus. Xbox shows this as in 2015 the backwards compatibility program for XB1 was introduced and if you look at Xbox Game Studios the only ports/remasters/remakes that have happened after 2015 were:
Games that had never appeared on Xbox (e.g. Quake)
Games that had never appeared on PC (e.g. Halo Wars)
Switch ports (e.g. Ori)
Yeah, I've thought of that and it makes me curious about NSO. Has NSO only had 2 systems for retro games thus far to justify certain full priced releases, or did rolling out retro games this slowly justify making some of these releases?
@Octane
Um.. I just want to share the upcoming games i found from playasia. Better i post the cover as well, perhaps someone might get interested.
Btw, they are not really shovelwares after all.
@Octane Honestly after the "1048" easter egg appeared in both the Wolverine and Spider-Man 2 trailers I really don't think it's a coincidence anymore. They'll be standalone games but with Insomniac developing both of them, they're probably sharing some form of continuity
There's another supposed nod to the 1048 reality number right at the start of the Spider-Man 2 trailer.

Out of curiosity I went to PureXbox for a bit to see the reaction to KOTOR being a Sony-published game now and was not disappointed
Literally a few months ago they were bragging about Indiana Jones being Xbox-only after the acquisition and they went right back into meltdown mode over this talking about the toxicity of exclusive games in the industry lol
Either way it's nice seeing that both platforms have really bright futures ahead of them. Some solid exclusives from both parties I'm interested in, which is something I couldn't even say about Microsoft last gen so they've really improved

Personally, Iβm probably never buying an xbox again, given that most of their games donβt interest me, and my last xbox console was a paper weight.

@TheFrenchiestFry I stopped going to PureXbox after a while. The name calling is ridiculous. The number of times I read "Sony ponies" under an article whenever Sony is mentioned is a worrisome. I know it's just a few ruining the mood for everyone, but still. Didn't really comment a lot, but it wasn't ever a very inviting place to begin with.
NLife and PushSquare also have their fair share of rabbid fan boys, but at least they're getting drown out by the rest of the people.
Anyway, Sony confirmed GT7 will pretty much require an online connection for the entire game, including the single player stuff. I won't even get into why this is as stupid as it is, but the game went from buy at launch to bargain bin game. I'm not confident after DriveClub.
Just another mindless stupid decision on their part.
@Octane Oh PushSquare especially has those select few folk but I literally can't even voice some criticism for certain things Microsoft do on PureXbox without being called a Sony shill, or a PlayStation fanboy even though I not only have a PC, but I regularly use Game Pass and Microsoft's services. It's the first time I actually had start blocking people on that site and now I just don't go there anymore
The "Xbox Series X" thread on that website is literally just some random Xbot trying to take pictures of tweets or videos to put dirt on rival consoles for no reason. It's sad really, especially since they've never been called out on it but I've had comments of mine removed for being "inappropriate" when people were trying to take shots at me when I was just stating an opinion. That site needs a massive overhaul in moderation even more so than this site or PushSquare even.
Why do console wars exist? Why canβt it just be that people buy the consoles that they want to buy, for the games they like to play? It just makes little sense to me as to why everyone has to get defensive over what box someone buys.
