At first glance I thought I saw 9am CST rather than 9am PDT.

@Octane Strike not being a card game already has me encouraged. I would have liked not to have hated Gwent. Ditto with the card game in FFIX.

@Ralizah I quite liked Gwent, though in hindsight, and having played the standalone game, it was quite basic and lacked depth. I wish Thronebreaker wasn't such a buggy mess at launch.

Now they've released Cyberpunk in the state it was in, I'm not even surprised.

I really wish we’d get something on XVI, but I don’t really think we will, given how the game isn’t going to be at TGS, due to not being ready to show yet.

Anyone want to bet that God of War: Ragnarok will be the best looking PS4 game to date?

I'm not expecting anything Persona related, given Atlus has a presentation for TGS.

That notice which came with the July State of Play about no news about HFW, GoW sequel and PSVR2 but updates are coming later this summer makes me think next week will have the PSVR2 reveal. HFW was at Gamescom Opening Night Live (and will probably also appear at the PS Showcase), GoW sequel being at the PS Showcase which leaves PSVR2.

I've moved on from VR (even Gamestop didn't want my PSVR on trade in, so it's in the closet- shipping costs would probably exceed the profit of selling on eBay). But I'd be happy to see it announced for the ppl that are still into it.

Unless they made an app where you get to experience realistic aurora borealis. I'm a diehard fan of the northern lights, and monitor geological storms for activity to view here in Wisconsin (even drove to the tip of Upper Michigan to see them before). I want a VR app where you put it on, and get to recline in your Lay-Z-Boy and view the night sky, in different locales with realistic aurora, with more rare colors and types appearing via RNG. View from Alaska! View from Greenland! View from Canada! That would get me to buy VR.

Anyways, what's the chances of something good being announced today that's not Soulsborne, Kojima or an already announced title?

I'm surprised Sony got Kotor. Dont know who they had to pay off for the rights to that.

The only thing I'm really excited for is Kotor. Hopefully TGS has some stuff I'd be interested in.

They're publishing it but it's only timed exclusive? I would expect full exclusivity if it's published by them. Or did timed exclusive just mean its only going to PC later?

Either way, going to PC later is great news.

This was a solid showcase though. Spiderman 2 was expected but welcome nonetheless. Especially if it has Venom. Carnage would be even more awesome.

Wolvernine I'll have to see gameplay for. I love the character but I'm not sure it will lend itself to the same type of traversal as Spiderman and Batman. No swinging, no flying, no grappling, etc. But we'll see. Probably pick it up either way.
