Topic: Team Fortress 2 free for all

Its worth the free download, especially if you enjoy the FPS genre. I'm not too much of a fan but had some fun with it. It can be quite chaotic for beginners though.

Downloading now. It'll probably take years though.

If you can run this game on your PC, GET. IT. NOW. Its one of the best games I've ever played, and I didnt like Online FPS's at the time I started playing it.

I can't play on Keyboard but can someone give me a good controller scheme for Xbox controller. I don't like FPS but since this is just multiplayer teams and it looks fun.

I enjoyed the first tutorial (Swiket edited out the blood and gore for me). Online still has it though, so I'll wait a bit to do some more tutorials and get that sorted out before I go online.

I have to ask considering how cartoony and unrealistic Team Fortress 2 is, why would one censor the comical blood and gore?

@BedCommando It still bothers me and feels more realistic than Call of Duty, if that answers your question.

At first, the blood and gore and pieces flying all over was a slight turn off for me.

I think Pandalicious is refering to the fact that in CoD- limbs and guts don't fly around when you get killed.

I've gotten used to it though and in some instances, find it funny. Reminds a bit of South Park and Happy Treehouse Friends.. Well, the latter is a bit gruesome and cringe-worthy..

But CoD has realistic aesthetics, and when comparing the two, one looks realistic, the other does not.
What I'm saying is when watching a video of two people fighting, generally when one dude gets a good shot in, you go "Ooo!" like you feel it almost. Watching Bugs Bunny get a face full of a mallet instead makes one laugh, because it's cartoony, not meant to be taken seriously, and is there for humour.
The same with Team Fortress 2. After all, when you get blown to smithereens, the game likes to point out "Your head", "Your liver", "Your hand", etc because it's humourous, which is what the game is all about; Humour, and personality.
So to me, he just said Bugs Bunny is more realistic than a real fight.

I think he was just referring to exploding limbs as being realistic. He can confirm or deny it if he wants

But medic is so fun! Just run around killing people with your bonesaw and needle gun

Just join a server currently running those maps and you will download them. Think I played Mario Kart once.

I'm always on the Ozzy Furocity servers, they're the best ones in Australia, and the funnest. We usually get heaps of people from America and Europe join because we have the Saxton Hale mod. Some of you should check it out.
