Did you ever think up something for a video game and, despite you not telling the companies anything, have that "something" appear in video games later?
My ideas:
@ During the "year without a WarioWare," I imagined that they would make a user-made game likely called "WarioWare: You Made It!" Such concept came as WarioWare: Myself/Made in Ore.
@ Back at Pokémon Silver, I was thinking up a Pokéball that fully heals your Pokémon. However, thinking that the ball has to affect in some way Pokémon that broke free of the ball, I also thought that, if they did break free, only 25% of their HP will be restored. In Diamond/Pearl, the Heal Ball was invented (without the 25% HP rule, probably because I did not think that the Pokéball can withhold the healing until AFTER the capture).
@ I was also thinking (at Pokémon Crystal) that, in a way to improve graphics (not knowing how good handheld graphics can become), the trainers will have animations (like Janine's hair flowing in the wind). Trainers got animations at Pokémon Platinum.
@ When I learned of 2-on-2 battles in Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire, I was thinking about an ability that, whether a wild Metapod was hit with a cutting move, another wild Metapod will spawn%, making a wild Double Battle! Wild Double Battles were implemented in Diamond/Pearl (albeit without the "Metapod split").
Did you get game idea coincidences like these?
% = Blame that Metapod vs. Pinsir Pokémon episode and me knowing that (Metapod-shaped) flukes spawn more when cut...
I used to write to Sega with game ideas quite frequently - usually rip-offs of Sonic, naturally - but to my knowledge none of them have been made into games yet. If they have, I'm yet to see a penny, Sega. Get those cheques coming!
Hey it wasn't that bad. Better than Adventure mode from Melee. I think it's hard to get much better from a fighting game like that. Plus you have to admit that the cinematics were pretty awesome.

I wasn't overly thrilled by it, but I felt compelled to play it just to unlock Sonic (the sole reason I bought the game in the first place). For a single-player adventure mode based on a single-screen fighting game it was a decent stab, but I'd never think of it as a success in any other terms, to be honest. Yes, even though it had Sonic in it.
