I'm not big on preordering stuff, but I jumped at the Amazon discount thing. I have...
Bayonetta 2
Hyrule Warriors
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

I'm probably going to ask for Smash Bros. for Wii U for Christmas.
I have intent on getting Uncharted 4 and Arkham Knight whenever I get a PS4. I'll absolutely get Zelda Wii U and Star Fox, but I can't preorder those.

I really don't see the point in pre ordering when you can shop around when shops announce their prices or specials. Maybe because Nintendo rarely offers any pre order dlc? Even if there is a pre order bonus, you can order it a week before.

I own a Wii U and 3DS, and barring a late reveal it's all Wii U this year:

Hyrule
Bayonetta combo
Smash U
Cpt Toad

I'll wait on the Wii Sports Club, Sonic, and Lego Batman reviews.

I'm likely to buy most of Nintendo's output next year, and if that slows I may buy a PS4- as long as the PS4 has something to play by then....

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

@JaxonH So how do you afford all of this? I only have enough for Smash 3DS and/or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire this year. Smash Wii U on the Christmas list. Hopefully I will be able to afford both Smash 3DS and Alpha Sapphire.

Usually afford to pre order one or two new games per paycheck (unless other expenses come up), but I'll put in like 16-24 hours overtime in a pay period and be able to knock out a good chunk in one go. Usually E3 comes, I put in lots of hours and spend alot, then the rest of the year I can go entire 3 month periods and not spend a dime. At most I'll have to order a game a paycheck the rest of the year which isn't bad (only 2 per month at most, usually less).

Having Gamers Club Unlocked is also vital. 20% off all new games ordered at Best Buy, on top of the $10 in rewards for most major 3rd party releases

Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright
Phoenix Wright trilogy (so mad its digital so not a "pre order persay")
Persona 4 Q
STEAM
Final Fantasy Explorers
Taiko no Tatujin
Story of Seasons
Harvest Moon

Shadow of Mordor

Is it only 20% off if you order at Best Buy or can you just walk in, buy a game and still get the 20% off? I buy a boatload of games a year so 20% off new would be very beneficial to me, but I've had nightmarish pre-order experiences at Best Buy.

@Gamer83

Any new game, pre order or not, in store or online, gets 20% off. That's actually pretty good. Makes brand new games only cost $50 to pre order AFTER tax, as opposed to $60 before tax. And half the games get $10 off in rewards, meaning the price is effectively less than $40 total, after tax. Mario Kart 8 even got a $10 gas card pre order offer- that's as good as cash to me. Some games, like Wolfenstein, got $20 back in rewards, plus the 20% off meaning $27.99 for a $60 game, AND it came the day before release. AND because it was an online order and I didn't get mini Panzerhund figure as a pre order bonus, they credited me ANOTHER $5. So $22.99 and got the game before it's release date.

Lots of deals like that. I buy my games no where else. It's $120 for 2 years GCU, but RIGHT NOW they're offering membership for half off. $60 for 2 years. I jumped on it last time it was $60 and bought 4 years of membership. Highly recommended

Definitely going to preorder Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright next time I'm at EB or GameStop. I was going to get the PW Trilogy, but then I found copies for my DS Lite.
