$250 for a 5 year old console? That's not a good deal. I'd advise waiting for the next generation of consoles to hit, rather than picking up a PS3 at the tail end of it's life cycle.

The PS3 offered more than the Wii back in 2006 as well, and it wasn't a good deal back then either. We absolutely need compare it to the Wii's new price. Also the PS2 and the GameCube were less than $200 at the 5 year mark so...

Amazing. I found every aspect of that game to be virtually flawless. The only drawback for me was the controls but once you got used to them, it was ace from there on out.
The hardware might be more worth it but game wise not to me, the only kind of stuff I like is on their downloads. Inb4 someone says I'm a fan boy. I know what games I like. If I felt it was necessary for me to get one I would but I am perfectly satisfied with my Wii. Besides my friend leaves his 360 here. So if I ever find a game I want so badly that's only on those 2 systems I would do so.

Don't ask about lz's PS3 troubles, Sony personally sabotaged his PS3 because they know how much he hates on Sony. No one else on earth has more PS3 problems than he does
@lz At least yours properly reads discs. I accidentally dropped mine and now I have to either leave a game in the system or pound on it to make it work. On top of it all I need $99 to fix it. Which I don't have. >.>
