You have turned this thread into a care factor topic or a PC platform topic. I dont care the PC has to be continually upgraded to stay ahead of console platforms. Talk about loot boxes.

Nut while we are on the topic of caring, I actually dont care if previous Sony console architecture wasnt comparable to the persistently/continually upgradable PC platform but the PS5 will hit the ground running when it launches. The PS5 will match high end PCs of this year whereas previous consoles from any corporation have never match high-end PC during their launch. Its a big deal that the PS5 is doing this.

You have somehow contributed some dribble (continually tried to discredit me) and whenever I replied back you have no valid answer other than to then go off topic and start claiming you dont care and that why do I care?

@8ball Back when I was in highschool and not some jaded old man, I was 100% a Nintendo fanboy. The Wii had just come out. I was part of some tech classes at the time (we built our own computers and learned networking and stuff, but that's besides the point). We were given an assignment about talking about game consoles and comparing them to said PCs and each other. I dove into the deep end and started spouting buzz words about how the Wii was this and the Wii was that. My assignment devolved into me basically writing an ad and giving in to my fanboyism. I didn't compare anything, I just spouted buzzwords and speculation. Needless to say I did not do well in that assignment nor did I win over any friends from it.

Being excited about something is fine. Unavoidable a lot of the time. Sharing your excitement is fine. Jumping into the deep end, spouting buzzwords and acting like a fanboy and getting upset when others disagree is not ok.

Read the title of your topic. Try to realize that hey, people aren't going to take you seriously because of it. Read your posts. See how many marketing buzzwords and speculation you've thrown in. Try to understand that again, people aren't going to take you seriously.

Plug n play is so great. One of the reasons that put off many non-Nintendo console owners this generation was installing games that took eternity to install and took up so much space.
Fortunately Sony's remarkable architecture design in the PS5 (which is even more advanced the PC architecture), has found ways to reduce the GB size of games for next-gen eventhough the games will be so much more intricate with their eco-systems.
The PS5 will be true plug n play, just like Nintendo's consoles.
Is it true when we buy our PS5 on launch day (of course) that with some games you can play them while the game is installing for the first time?
It is confirmed you can install only what section of the game you prefer to play, which is a good sign if you like single player gaming and dont really want to install multiplayer if you intend on not using that mode until finishing the game.
As for what is available at launch, I will wait until the launch time comes to decide what Im getting but the realistic sports sims dont interest me, I would rather play them in the real world than on couch.

@8ball People might take you seriously if you ditch the buzzwords and the fanboy stuff.

Just say you like PS and state why. No need to use crap like "M$" because it sounds like they hurt you in a very personal matter.

What you interpret from text typed on a screen and how you perceive the other person who typed the text, pretty much has no relevance to that other person because they may not care if they sound like a fanboy and/or may not care with what your perception of the person is or what the person should be typing in accordance to your recommendations.

You are making a thread NOT to show how much you like PS, you are making it to show how much you hate Xbox (MS). And you put in some PS5 facts just for color.

@8ball Sometimes it feels like only Sony and Epic really care about what the next gen can bring in terms of new experiences.

Nintendo are happy with with what the switch delivers and are able to achieve their artistic vision on it.

Microsoft are also happy with the current generation baseline and will continue to deliver games for it for years to come. The Xbox series X might be a next generation machine but it is designed to play generations of games to the best standard possible.

The PlayStation five is designed around the dream of the SSD and the new experiences that will allow. For example ratchet and clank rift apart.

It’s hard to say which of these three very different concepts will win the next generation. Will people choose portability convenience. Well they choose the power that allows their favourite game is to be shown at their best. Or will they choose their new exclusive experience only the PlayStation five can provide.

In spite of the greater power of the PlayStation. In my opinion Nintendo’s first party output has been better than Sony. However the mass of multi platform games is where most of the great games of this generation are to be found.

If you think a topic on console wars is childish.
If you think a forum poster uses irritating keystrokes to represent a word or name.
If you have nothing to add to the topic other than continually focus on offering your recommendations of what we should type or offer your opinions on what you think of the other person typing, that is fine, I have not complained, you are entitled to your opinion but rather than wasting keystroke energy, wouldnt you rather be playing something on your inferior platform of your choice, than offering your personal recommendations to me which I dont care for?

Actually i have both Playstation and Nintendo machines.
I bought them for complementary experience.
When The Sims 4 console version only available on PS4 and Xbox One version, i bought the PS4 version and it saved my day because EA will not port The Sims 4 for Switch.
I also have PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP games as well Nintendo i have GBA, NDS, 3DS, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Switch.
I played all of them like there is No competition at all since they are completely different products that offering different experiences.

The only machine i don't have is Xbox machine (OG Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One) due Xbox brand is completely dead in Asia region and the games i want from Xbox machines are just very few, can be counted by my fingers.

Play the games you like. The console wars are stupid. We already have a PlayStation and Xbox thread, so I suggest using those.
