Don't over pay for an HD cable I got mine for under $5 on Amazon and it works just as well as the high priced ones.

Yes, what @Splat said. I got this one from amazon, it works amazingly well. No use buying some $80 one at best buy that works the same.

Fight Night Champion is so dam additive. I have played it non stop since I rented it. It has moved to #1 on my must have list.

I enjoyed the demo of Fight Night Champion, though I've never brought myself to own the full version. I'm glad you're enjoying it and I hope it's worth paying full-price for.

Amazon has it new for $23 it's easily worth that.

Also is 160 gb enough for a new PS3 user? I don't plan to download a ton of games on it, so I wonder if that is enough to last awhile.

I download enough games as it is and I find it to be quite helpful. Great choice for a newcomer. _{Besides you might want to download a lot of games in the end you never know.}

You should be more than fine with 160 GB. The only reason you would need more is if you download alot of games or have a ton of movies and music on the PS3. If you are only using it for games like myself you will be fine.

I don't know about the "alot" [sic] comment. 160GB could be as few as 16 downloaded games with the PSN.

I know I will download DC Universe Online which is about 18-20 gb, but otherwise I won't download too much unless I end up with games that use a ton of DLC

And I might grab War for Cybertron and Arkham Asylum GOTY edition on Amazon for $30 with free shipping

Any reason why the Playstation 3 has kept its Value for such a long time. Can't find a used one under $150. Would Love to get one but its still above the $200 mark.

Blu Ray player is the only reason really. I'm sure Gamestop has one for less than $200.

@shingi There's not a PS3 model without a HDD, as it's buried into the system. I'd recommend getting a new system, as they're upgraded and run smoother than the older models. For $200, you're still getting a big bang for you bucks and the game's are dirt cheap nowadays.
