I'm really glad to see Chrono Cross finally available. I already own the PS1 discs but I will probably download it just so I can play it when I get my PS Vita. Oh and I'm downloading that Rayman Origins demo. It looks pretty sweet!
Nearly eight hours later and I finished MW3's offline campaign.
Wow. Just wow. MW1 was great, MW2 was epic but MW3... well it's phenomenal. Perfect. Playing through the trilogy you would understand the character's biology and really get immersed into the story. Veteran is really easy too. Much easier than MW2's veteran and miles behind Black Op's veteran difficulty... I'm not going to spoil anything even though I want to.
Spoilers!!!!
I love being a juggernaut at the end as Captain Price because it being the last mission the suspense is deadlier than a bullet. Man words cant describe how that feels. Also surviving a building falling on you, shooting at a helicopter through a dismantled building in a different helicopter, falling off a mountain into a river, driving a boat in between exploding battleships, sniping, and so on and so forth can't get any better.
Never a dull moment? Something exciting always happens every mission. Oh yeah and Soap dies. :l
END OF SPOILERS
Did you know Bill Murry does Captain Price's voice? Weird.

@ veiwtiful im sorry, but im not sure i can take you seriously again. First youve already beaten MW3's singleplayer but more importantly you say its nearly perfect? no. no. no. Sure, some of the set pieces from the first two were pretty cool but the story is convoluted and characters are killed off extremely unnecessarily and from what ive heard, MW3 suffers from the same problems. Play the uncharted series as well as maybe the two batman games and then TRY to tell me that MW's singplayer is phenomenal. That said, i love its multiplayer and its a blast to play with friends and all the perks and stuff are miles ahead of most games. but story is meh
@micky/viewtiful The possibility WAS there, but is no longer. To quote IGN "Still, Modern Warfare 3's campaign suffers from a run of the mill story [...] The story is difficult to follow as usual, and while it does wrap up the arc begun by the previous Modern Warfare games, it isn't ultimately all that interesting or satisfying. Moments of emotional weight fell flat as I found it difficult to muster up feelings of sadness" yeah, definitely does not sound "phenomenal" "perfect" or "immersive" as Viewtiful states.
I feel like im ragging you a bit hard, but after playing many COD's, the story is a mediocre distraction that is ok for a playthrough, but saying its perfect is incorrect in so many ways. That said i DO enjoy the multiplayer especially with friends, and it doesnt deserve all of the bad rep it can get
This would be good news if it weren't for the fact that it excludes Daxter (the game not the character). I was looking forward to playing that in HD and all that. Oh well, at least more people get to experience this awesome series. Seriously, they some of my fave platformers.
And I wonder if this means we'll see a new Jak & Daxter game for the PS3, especially now that Uncharted is over with?

I only played for one hour (Only survival so far) and oh my gawd I love it.
What's wrong with that? Some people have already prestiged. >.>

I can't stand those key words. If you've played these games you would understand how anyone dies And how unnecessary it really isn't.. But I'm not going to subdue myself to spoiling anything because someone disagrees with my opinion.

I have. MW3's storyline is better than Uncharted's. I'm sorry if my opinion differs. Also Soap>>>>>>>Nathan Drake.
Playing the games first then making an opinion is the better than joining the bandwagon.
@viewtiful, first you are jumping to extreme conclusions by saying "if youve played these GAMES" i have, i played MW MW2 and black ops, some had some decent singplayer but they were just a mild distraction from the multiplayer aspect, so please actually read what i say before openling critisizing me. also you should be thankful that i actually acknowledge that i havent played MW3 yet, but after playing the first two and reading reviews i can pretty much gauruntee you the story in it of itself, is not what you have it cracked up to be. you are literally telling me that the MW story arch is the best story you have EVER played in ANY videogame EVER. overstatement of the century

Okay lets put it this way: If you have paid attention to the layout of the storyline for MW you would understand that it isn't a mild approach or a poor excuse for an offline campaign. Also most people who say it's generic, mindlessly play it just for the achievements and pay no attention to anything other than "Where is my achievement at?".
