Big news for me.
I got my internet upgraded!
Its more fast and for MW2,I join matches very fast and I even hosted the matches 3 times already!!

PSN+ sounds pretty good if you ask me

There's nothing really to complain about.

I'm not sure how many of you are fans of point and click adventures but I recently downloaded Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse and Tales of Monkey Island. All six episodes of Sam and Max are currently on sale for $24.99 and all five episodes of Tales of Monkey Island is only $19.99. These games are really fun and a good bargain if you happen to like point and click adventures. I also downloaded episode 1 of The Blue Toad Murder Files. It is on sale this week for only $1.49. It is a puzzle solving murder mystery game that is similar to the Professor Layton series although not nearly as good. I still think its a pretty good deal considering the price plus it also has trophies.

Okay, so I'm very late on this (haven't checked the thread in a bit), but...@Feen&...: Not sure why, but relatively new PS3's (which I assume yours is, based on your small list of played games on PSN) often have really cruddy internet connections for a while. I downloaded the first Spyro shortly after getting my PS3...300-something MB, and it took SIX HOURS. The same size now takes well under one hour, and my connection hasn't changed. I've heard other similar reports online, so I suggest just waiting it out...it should improve on its own.

@WolfRamHeart: This season of Sam & Max is 5 episodes, actually. And I'm a genuine TellTale fan, having already attained 100% in all three Sam & Max episodes currently available as well as all five Tales of Monkey Island. Boy, I was glad to be given the chance to finish the series after the disappointment that was the WiiWare version (of which I only played one episode, then refusing to get more due to crappy quality).

The Official PS Blog has a bit more info about PSN+ than the link Josh gave does. Of particular note (to clarify some obvious confusion on this thread): Free PSN+ downloads remain yours throughout the time you're subscribed...no download is good ONLY during the month in which it is initially made available. Also, (and this is more important still), if your subscription falters for any reason, all your PSN+ downloads will reactivate when you resubscribe. So two years of downloads aren't lost just because you miss your chance to add time to your subscription before it expires.

I'm also particularly interested in the automatic downloads feature. I hate being interrupted when I'm about to play a game to do a title update...having it turn on while I'm at work or whatever and do it then will be awesome!

At any rate, I'm completely convinced that this service IS worth $50 per year...certainly more than XBL is.

Consider my 50 bucks spent.

Anyone else here not getting full connection on their broadband?
I have an "8mb" package and am only getting 3mb's.
Can anyone just help?

It could be the line but they upgraded us from 1mb to an 8mb connection for free as part of their investment plan or something so I don't know if I have the right to complain to them.

But seriously on my PS3,it would go from 3.6mbps down to 3.4mbps.
It gets irritating when I am downloading something because you can clearly see the percentage bar slow down.

You have a much higher internet speed than me. The world is not gonna end.

@Sean.... Depends on the signal I guess. I have a 6mb connection and at time it drops to like 3mb. Its not a big deal as you only need less than 1mb to run the internet properly. If you are in the 3mb and complain they will prob just laugh as that is still blazing fast. I dont know how much faster you could really want.

I usually sit in the 5mb range and its crazy fast.

Did any of you get rewards from the E3 booth in Home? I checked it out once but I couldn't get into the upstairs V.I.P. section. I needed to watch all the game trailers to gain access but I couldn't watch the last trailer. It kept booting me out every single time I started playing it so I just gave up after a while. Anyway, I'm just curious if any of you got rewards and what they were.

Fat Princess is finally getting some dlc and a patch that allows four player split screen co-op! Can't wait. I might actually get my siblings to join me...that is after I buy another controller.

Would you be happy if you were getting a new broadband with higher speed but only getting about 40% of it?
Because I sure as hell aren't.
But at the position I am in,it is very hard to complain so I am happy with the speed overall.

@Sean... I understand because at first mine was the same way. If you check in in the off hours when nobody is really online you prob are getting like 6-7 wich is ungody fast. I think its kinda like a estimate to be honest as mine is never at 6mb.
