thanks a lot for the help this morning odd. if you ever play at night on the weekends im off saturday and sunday nights now. i'm getting a blue tooth headset soon as well. as soon as i feel like spending 40ish dollars on one wal mart has.
Yea i play mostly nights. If you see me online during the day then My roomate is playing my ps3 lol.
@slapshot82 You should be able to talk to the claptrap in New haven he should give you a quest to find a repair kit. That is weird . Maybe you haven't picked it up. I know where its at so next time invite me and teleport to new haven. Salt flats isn't the end of the game though LOL umm did you complete Crimson Fastness yet? I know you can get into the salt flats from the Crimson Enclave.
I still can't figure out how to play splitscreen online in borderlands. I'm guessing me and my friend can't play together and then join someone's game online. If so how? I wish other games would offer this mode. It seems like Resistance 2 is the only decent game to offer splitscreen online.
@charlie i'll send a request when i get home from work. So what's your favorite class to play in co-op?
Hysteria Project is a pretty crap game, but for $2.50 or whatever it is, it's reasonably amusing mini to play through once. It's essentially a movie version of choose your own adventure, and is therefore certainly something original for the service.
Fairytale Fights, on the other hand, is more fun than the reviews would have you believe. If you don't go into it with much expectation, it's a very simple and brainless game, but still fun and crazy. As a budget purchase, I don't actually regret it at all.
@odd.... We did save the injured claptrap in Old Haven, even though it glitched and he was invisible and we couldnt see him. He is still invisible and Im not sure if he activates a quest I havent done. I only have 2 available quest and that is the one in Salt Flats, (Scavenger Machine Gun) and I cant get there and then Trash Coast (Another Piece of the Puzzle), wich Im fixing to go ahead with. My brother said its pretty much the end of the game and not to go forward until I figure what missing. Im fixing to anyways though, Im getting irritated with trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Update... I figured it all out and now at the end of first playthru, this Platinum is officially mine lol. I'm really excited about 2nd Playthru and grabbing the 3 DLCs as well.

Ok cool. I ussually play medic but the only other one Ive played is soilder. Not even that far in the single player... just got to the north towere and shot down their fleet or whatever.
@AlexSays: Depends on what kind of cards Target has and what state you live in. Activate-at-the-register cards at GameStop in Maryland are tax-free, whereas the old clunky blister pack Microsoft cards are still taxed. Of course, if you would be buying the cards retail one way or another, the tax doesn't actually increase the cost relative to the $3 savings.
Someone asked about The Saboteur. I'm playing it now. Pretty good, but it has WAAAAAAAY too many ambient sidequests. 14 hours into the game and I'm only at 21% completion of the darned things. Gets a bit repetative, y'know. Wouldn't be an issue to non-completionists, though.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
@charlie.... I meant to send u a invite last night but ran out of time. I will tonight.
@josh... yeah, loving it, hope I can catch u on so I can jump in with you.
@odd... what happened is online co-op on the end missions don't save if your low level. I played all what I did last night including crimson at like level 20, the side quest saved but not main. Ofcourse xp and guns did so its all good, just had me confused pretty bad lol.

So I picked up Bond: Quantum of Solace real cheap. Unfortunately there's a bunch of trophies that can only be obtained through online play. What do you think the chances are that I'll ever be able to get a game going on a game that old?
(If anyone has that game, and wants to break it out for a few matches, please let me know).
Also, although it's imposible to have a proper feel for the game after 1-2 hours play, Sacred 2 is good fun, I think. Feels a lot like a MMO - haven't taken it online yet.
@Waltz.... sorry I havent replied properly, Ive been doing most of my online NL time on my phone and typing on a touch screen isnt exactly the best in the world Sacred 2 is one of those games Ive almost bought a million times as it just looks like a ton of MMO fun. Its basically a fantasy version of Borderlands or maybe more Borderlands is Sacred with guns lol. Im getting 3D Dot Heroes when it comes out and then Im down to 7 games left to play through and then maybe Ill grab it, and as for Quantum of Solace, Ive been meaning to borrow that off my buddy for the last year, he loves it. Keep us updated on Fairy Tale Fights, as It just really strikes my insane curosity, much like the upcoming crazed Teddy Bear Game.

I loved Guild Wars back in the day - bought all the expansions and maxed out my total allotment of heroes to level 20 (I think you were allowed 8 if you bought everything).
What excites me about Sacred 2 is that I got that "Guild Wars" vibe from the moment I loaded it up, only without to nitwits going "LOL BUY MY GOLDEN FLAMING SWORD 1K!!!!!!!!" over and over and over again in towns. From what I've read, it's an absolutely massive game, and I'm looking forward to properly sinking my teeth into it.
As for QoS - I really enjoyed the Wii version, and I reckon this one is better - it's a cinematic game that benefits from the HDness, and a lack of motion controls makes it far more relaxing to play. Plus, it's Bond.
I will keep people updated on Fairytale Fights. I suspect it's no where near as bad as the reviews claim overall. Naughty Bear is on my must-buy list. That is just cool.
@Slapshot: What time of day you normally play video games? I seem to always miss you. Me you and odd69 need to team up sometime for some killing of stuff and taking of loot. I'm level 32 now. (thanks odd for getting me almost a complete level earlier )
@josh.... I'm on central time, and I'm on some week nights Mon through Thursday between 7-9 at night and Fri through sun I can be on anytime. Hope to catch you on, I'm enjoying shooting everything in Boderlands myself.

Back from the week of hell. The funeral is over. It went very well and smoothly. Nothing to complain about. Well presented Funeral.
However that week of sorting the funeral out has literally made me insane. My head is hurting and i'm very tired. But I have been more outside now since the news that my brother died. I went fishing after the funeral to calm down and relax.
Also many of you on my friends list should see I haven't signed in for about 2 days. I have been going outside alot now and have my own bike so i may no be on as much as I used to but I'll be on very frenquetly.
Right now...I got home from fishing and I ordered myself a Pizza and can of coke. I'm getting my head back together.

@Sean.... well even though Ive never met you I do consider you a friend of mine. I consider quite a few here friend. Im right up there with you my friend though sadly. My wife lost and aunt two days ago cutting her grass and the tractor flipped on her, and then a few hours ago I found out that my grandfather just found out he has Stage 4 Cancer in the lungs and its already moved into his heart and he isnt expected to last but a few months. Life can really suck sometimes.
I just got in my copy of Avatar BD, and dropped by Best Buy to pick up the new Sevendust album and saw that they had Avatar the Game for $20, I grabbed it lol. I guess it cant be to terrible as I love the movie.

Avatar on BluRay is incredible. Imo... it was better than in 3d at the theatre. Possibly the best looking BD to date.
Platinum on Borderlands. Fun game and I have no intentions of stopping until I 100% all DLC, not one trophy has some ridiculous task, fetch collectibles, etc. I wish all games would be this way. Not easy, just fun and not boring and repetive to gain a trophy.

I feel ya Slapshot. It can be very depressing when a family member or friend dies. Last week was just amazingly terrible and was very hard to get through. I couldn't even play my PS3 as I wasn't in the mood at all. But I do feel better after the funeral was over. I guess we have to move on but still think of those who died from time to time otherwise we'd just be depressed all the time.
And I know we're on the internet but that does not mean we can't be friends. Some people on the internet are cruel and absolutely disgusting. But atleast we can block them. lol
Anyway thanks once again guys! I'm gonna complete FFXIII.
