@Strofan.... yep and if you ever come across PURE for PS3 on the cheap grab it. Its incredible.

@slapshot82 If you do buy R2 let me know. You'll get alot of bang for 30$ in my opinion. I've been hounding everyone in this thread to buy it LOL because it's one hell of a shooter with so many online modes, and i still consider it my favorite online shooter. The single player story mode is quite good too, i'm not sure why i like the storyline so much but i do.

Did anyone play Bioshock 2's online mode??? Is it worth playing?

Guys....I am having a very very VERY odd issue with MW2(PS3).
I tried resetting the PS3 and it still happens.

It say's on MW2(PS3) that NO ONE is online.
I don't get it?....NO ONE....ZERO....is online.

Did the servers get hacked or something because I don't understand this at all.....

Update:.....oh my god...I joined a match and now...the match making on the PS3 is better....MY GOD...
Update 2:Its fixed. I guess it has something to do with the PS3 cache...thats all I'll assume.

@Odd.... Im fixing to get off here and finish the Single Player on Bioshock 2 and it has been Phenominal to say the least. The multiplayer is very different than your normal Online Multiplayer as you have high HP. Reason is that you use your Plasmids, Primary and Secondary guns in about every kill.....

Ex.... Equip Electro Bolt, Crossbow and Machine Gun...... First hit the enemy with the Electro Bolt to stun them in Place with the L1 button, then quicly use R1 to fire a Crossbow into them for high damage, then tap R2 to swap to secondary Machine Gun for a few bullets to finish them off, as the Crossbow has LONG reload time.

That is just one of my MANY strategies. There are SO MANY playstyles and it makes for a incredibly difficult but extremely fun experience. My brother in law watched me play it this weekend and is buying it today. Would love to get some more people I know into this game. Hell of a single player and multiplayer in one package.

Whats the best WRPG on PS3? I've just finished FF13 and want to compare a modern JRPG with a modern WRPG.

To be honest I want Mass Effect 2 but I'm not waiting until they finally publish those games on PS3.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

@Luigi.... well I would have to suggest Fallout 3. I put 95 hours into the Main Game and Platinumed it and LOVED it. I just fired up the first DLC Broken Steel and even after 95 hrs of playtime, It feels SO GOOD to be back in the Capital Wastleand. I just got out of Rapture today by finishing up Bioshock 2 and dropping back into Fallout again is just great. You can snag the Game of the Year edition with all the DLC on it as well now and its well worth the money.

Apparently this little story has gotten a big buzz around the net and Im sure a front page article is bound to hit here on NL over this, but in my opinion it really makes me happy to see the Sony DOES in fact understand who/what their customers/gamers are and where they are going with Playstation Move..... What do you guys think?

Dragon age origins is a more traditional Wrpg than fallout 3, but like slappy said it's the best games on ps3(and 360 too).

I rather jrpg's for some reason. I found that fallout 3 is more of a Hybrid (wrpg/shooter). If you compare Dragon age origins to Fallout 3, you'll get a highly different feel. By the way i enjoyed Fallout 3 way more than Dragon age.

@Slappy: Perhaps we can boost at some point. I was going to do it with my brother, but we could always set up a little help for you as well.

I think Dille got that right, actually. Too many "hardcore" gamers DO look down their noses at motion control. I think it has more to do with resistance to change in general than to concerns about accuracy, though...or maybe some of both, comparing gameplay experiences for titles available on all systems (few of those though there are). Of course, it's like I always say: You need to make a game that really feels enhanced by motion control, or better yet, one that wouldn't work without it. Tacked-on controls DESERVE to be looked down upon.

Sorry to say but most gamers on the PS3 and 360 do not want motion control.
Its quite simple.
They think its all waggle.(Which...lets be fairly honest,it mostly is. On the Wii ANYWAY.)
They simply prefer to sit down relax with a game pad instead of standing up and doing motion.

Unless the game has accurate motion controls,I could care less for it. Thats my view.
However,in honestly....Nintendo did something right this gen and they won,however they brought a bad taste on Motion Control gaming....making it look...and I love Nintendo but I have to say it:Kid-ish.

I do believe motion control is gonna kick off but there will be a vast amount of people who will not take the bait.
I for one,welcome motion control....but not for 100% of everything gaming.

Haha... I gave Fallout 3 a LONG rest but man is it good to be back in the buggy mess that is Fallout 3 DLC on PS3..... dang that rhymes too

I finally got RE5 100% completed.
I now have 3 plat's

Which for me,is great!
As I have no money to buy other games most of the time so I make the most out of the one's I have now.

Final Fantasy 13 is next. But I will only be going for the trophies afterwards as it is a story driven game and I don't want to be taken out of that by trying to get trophies.

Also I'd love to get the Fallout 3 DLC but I think I am done with that game for a long long while. lol

@Sean: If you're going that route, I suggest you avoid doing ANY side-quests when you hit Chapter 11 before you've finished the main game. There's at least one Trophy you could accidentally lock yourself out of, and you'd have to start ALL OVER to get it.

Oh the Fallout dlc is Broken Steel is Dang cool. Deathclaw followers, tesla coil cannon and your stats get so high, and I'm finally using energy weapons lol. I got point lookout next too. It's all quite buggy but highly explosive fun. No more scrounging for anything to give a edge, if its not armor, guns, stims or ammo I don't pick it up, making it much faster paced.

...so one of the devs of TikGames responded to a comment I made about the game Wakeboarding HD and it convinced me to buy his other game Magic Orbs. WakeHD is great fun if u like tony hawk games, but Magic Orbs is Simple yet Amazing. It's a must buy at the current $5 Sale Price.

I only need two more levels done in World at War on Veteran Mode and I have the WaW Platnium.

However,I may not get it because the heart of the reich is one of the most hardest levels in the game on Veteran mode and I hope the developers who made it go die in a ditch for such a disgusting and sick minded idea.
May their souls go to hell,and stay there.

I hope they never make another Veteran mode again.

Ive only played the first few levels of WaW, its sitting over there on my shelf right now lol. Ill get to it later, I have NO intention of nothing but playing through the single player ONCE, but as for the SPEC OPS on Veteran......... Infinity Ward you can go !@#$% Yourselves, I spent 6 hours with my brother online and we only got through the dang Burger Town Standoff against the 5 waves of Enemies and the 2nd Snowmobile Levels and one Other one. The Scrapyard with the Juggernaughts is ridiculous.

@Slappy: If I'm reading you correctly, you seem to think that Infinity Ward developed Call of Duty: World At War. This is simply not true. Rather, it was Treyarch, who I hear are generally inferior to Infinity Ward. Which I find a frightening thought, given how much I hate Modern Warfare 2.

In other news: new 3D Dot Game Heroes trailer is awesome, as expected! Hmm...if it was expected, is it really "news?" Ah, nevermind...just watch it!

@stuff.... no at infinity ward. The quote screwed up and mixed the 2 comments together. Mw2 single player on veteran was tough but still fun and online is incredible. It's the co_op spec ops on veteran that is just damn frustrating, its not even fun. Treyarch WaW online is so easy. My first match ever was like 29 and 10. Mw2 is the way better game.

I deleted everyone off my friends list and will be starting over again,and fresh.
Plus,I did have quite the number of people on my list who only play MW2 so really,it was pointless and I don't speak to those people anyway.

Thanks for your impressions on Bioshock 2. I was wondering why nobody mentioned anything about it. Glad you liked Magic Ball(Orbz)! I bought it a while back and really enjoyed it. I haven't even completed it because I like throwing it on every now and then to play new levels. Wakeboarding HD looks like my type of game but I'm definitely waiting for it to go on sale. Same with Hamster Ball. I don't know why but I REALLY want to play that game.
