So I suffered a stroke a few months ago and I am only able to use my left hand to game. I have been playing Octopath Traveler and Ghost Recon on the 3DS. Does anyone have any more recommendations for games which can be played with only a left hand?

I'm not sure what systems you own, Microsoft does an accessible controller that works with Xbox and PC.
Hori also does one for the switch, but its pretty expensive and hard to get hold of outside of Japan.
A lot of jrpgs can be played one handed. Earthbound and Dragon Quest come to mind. Remember that you can also change button mapping in the Switch menu. You could probably play 2D Mario by mapping the A and B buttons to to the L and ZL buttons, for example. I hope that helps.
@NImH Yeah Dragon Quest XI can be played with your left hand, when both Joy-Cons are attached. That game’ll be a perfect fit, because there aren’t any concessions made for this feature. Hope this helps!
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Persona 4 Golden
Dragon Quest XI S
F1 23
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
3DS games that can be played with just the touchscreen, like Professor Layton and Ace Attorney, might be a good choice. I also recommend the indie game Bomb Chicken on the Switch; you just move with the D-pad or control stick and place bombs with any other button.
Just like others have said, many great DS and 3ds games control mostly with the touch screen.
Professor Layton
The DS Zelda games
Ace Attorney
Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings
Scribblenauts games (I think)
Some of these are playable on the Wii U.
And Earthbound on the Wii U virtual console works great, thanks to the shoulder button.
As for multiplayer, some of the Mario party games can be played with one controller in one hand.
Hope this is helpful!
@NImH Another JRPG recommendation for you - but a bit more action-based. The World Ends With You: Final Remix (or Solo Remix on iOS). The touchscreen controls are excellent, and meant to be done with one hand, with the remixes having been originally devised for mobile phones.
Most of 51 Worldwide Games (Clubhouse Games) minigames can probably be played with one hand as they are slow paced. Of course there are some like Tanks and Shooting Gallery which are more fast paced but for the most part it should be ok
Don't remember exactly but i think Kirby Air Ride for GC can be played with just 1 Hand, i remember trying to play it 2 Player with a Controller in each Hand. (Which didn't work out so well)
Since the Game only uses A and the Control Stick ( R or L have the same function as A ) you should be able to have lots of fun hours if you can grab a copy, and if you have a Wii you can play it on that, if its an older one ofc, they did remove the Feature from newer Versions of the Console.
Someday, somewhere in the Sky...
may we meet again.
I only remember Opoona for Wii which you play only by using the nunchuk, and Bravely Default on 3DS which has one-handed control scheme.
Also if you own 3DS stand you can play many touch-screen games just with stylus, e.g. Tomodachi Life, Steel Diver and so on.
@Krull thanks for the recommendation... But I just can't swing mobile games with the touchscreen. Thank you for the well-wishes ✌️ @Lightgazer I have always wanted to snag Kirby's Air Ride but it's gotten so expensive. Ugh. But I'm still looking. I'd never heard it has a one-handed mode, so thanks. @anynamereally I hadn't considered using the 3DS stand, so thanks👍
