@Anti-Matter Okay so I think that Mega Man X7 is the best game because you can have TWO DUDES on one mission and unlimited lives! : D

@StewdaMegaManNerd well ... StarForce is now locked in.

Now we just needs legends.

Problem with that one is it's only 2 games and a spinoff with a massive cliffhanger.

So Capcom is probably aware that a legends collection will come with demands for a sequel which is a bigger undertaking than a remastered collection.

I mean at this point I'd just take the remaster collection, especially if the hard to get spin off comes with it.

But it's anyone's guess if Capcom will risk sending what's effectively an incomplete collection out on its own or not.

So just reposting my comment to restart the conversation

X7 trend chased too much. It copied a lot of what was popular at the time (like Axel who is an obvious product of the hot shot teenager type) and did so when a lot of those trends were getting stale. So I do agree it gets too much hate. But I also understand it.

@Metazoxan if Capcom was cool they’d include the Legends 3 Prototype in there.

I also thought about just making it a 3D Collection, with the Legends series headlining, but also include games like Battle & Chase, Network Transmission, Command Mission, etc

@Metazoxan I think that if Axl had been introduced in a game that was more well-received, he would definitely have been more popular.
