Supposedly, it's going to be a PSP UMD containing Mega Man Powered Up & Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. I'm surprised modern-day Capcom would do this especially with how they treated the franchise recently (The MML series, MHX, and MMPU were all Inafune's personal favorites). I have mixed thoughts at the moment. I don't know if I should break the boycott and help support the Mega Man franchise (and get a cheap used PSP while I'm at it), or if I should skip it and continue my strict boycott of the otherwise crappy company. I wished they released the Dual Pack before Inafune left Capcom, or at least before Mega Man Legends 3 got cancelled.
I have mixed feelings about Maverick Hunter X, but I don't want to say I hate it. I absolutely hate Megaman Powered up though. I don't care about this awesome deal. But as I said it's an awesome deal for anyone who is interested.
At least Powered Up has a level editor. Wish Mario had something like that (official, not a hack).
I'm glad Capcom is giving these games a second chance. I had a hard time finding Maverick Hunter X in stores, so I'll definitely pick this up when it comes out. But wait a minute... I thought the PSP was dead in the US?

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
That is surprising. My local Best Buy took a few years to sell out of Powered Up and they still have Maverick Hunter X in stock at $14.99 (same as GameStop's projected price for the Dual Pack).
I guess Capcom figures that even if people apparently don't want to pay that much for each of the games, they'll pay it for both?
... and poor sales for a game benefit Mega Man fans how, exactly?
If the sales of this pathetic cash-in have any affect on Mega Man's future, maybe he is better off retired.

Possibly, yes. But honestly, if people want Mega Man to continue on, then they're really going to need to buy the games, new. Otherwise it's just not worth Capcom's time.
