Funny Story: It was about a week ago, my friend had convienced me to get PSN, so I got it next night (really late). I found out that since I'm underaged, I must have a parent account. I made one for my parents (Bellfolks) and I was ready to make my own. Unfortunatley, I could not make one since the entire family shares one freakin email address. I thought that if I deleted the PSN account, I could say I was 18 on my new account. When I deleted my parent's profile thinking it would delete the psn account as well, I made my mistake! Because of my stupidity, Bellfolks is still my account but it doesnt have a profile on my PS3. I can still access this PSN account, but I have no trophies. I will try to convince my parents to see if I can get my own email so I can make a new account on PSN, leaving Bellfolks to rot. Unfortunatley it wont be easy. I'm sorry that I have no trophies for you to view, since my parents dont play PS3 and therefore have no trophies on their account that I deleted. So yeah... that's why

But the choice is yours, in 10-20 years it will be valuable, and you will be lucky to have it.
Untrue. Video game consoles do NOT hold their value. As a video game collector myself, I can tell you that they're close to valueless. An Atari 2600 is worth $10-$20 at most. NESes were common as dirt; you can't give them away. Even something semi-rare like a 7800 or Intellivision is worth not more than $50. (And that's pushing it!)
The only consoles that buck that trend are the uber-rare ones that produced very limited quantities. e.g. The Vectrex has held its value and Imagination Machines are practically priceless.
The PS2 is the best selling console of all time. (Though the Wii looks like it will top it.) How much do you really think it's going to be worth in 10-20 years?
My recommendation: If you're going to sell it, sell it now. You'll get more money for it than if you wait. The longer you wait, the less it will be worth.
