@Dezzy Personally, I don't mind these articles but I can understand if people don't want video games politicised or mixed with real world issues in these articles- they ARE a form of escapism, after all. If you feel your decision is right, I won't try to stop you but I hope to see you here again some day.
@Snatcher I think they just got fed up of the negativity in general, he was getting shouted down a lot by a few posters for talking about rumours even though he was doing it on a what if basis rather than it is a 100% fact. I can understand that though, you couldn’t even have a laugh in the Switch Pro thread as it was so miserable in there for months and probably still is.

Folks around here really make to big a deal out of this stuff. Is it activism or is it a part of who the authors are, authors that are hired to write opinion pieces. Don’t like the article then don’t read it. I personally never read the comments sections because it’s a cesspool half the time. I don’t see you arguing about that.
@Dezzy, I don't know if you will see this, but I'm on the fence about leaving, too. It's Kotaku all over again, with people creating incredibly insulting posts towards one another without any attempt at understanding one another's view. The past year has been fairly chill; we got heated about certain gaming topics, but with the anti-white sentiment this site has been propagating as of late, I'm about to tap out.
@Snatcher he put me on his ignore list but I guess that he couldn’t help just checking the site not logged in so that he could see my comments. In order to reply he took me off his ignore list. I assume our back and forth got to him when Nate the hates moving the goal posts happened after the oled dropped. Then he left for good.

That right there is an example in anti-white rhetoric, and in that case it's self directed which is insane. I could dig through the other articles for more, but I would rather put my time in something else. My main complaint is that within those articles, the user-base gets at each other's throats over the topics. There are people that are giving sincere, legitimate opinions, and getting shot down as racist. I got called a nazi for sharing ideas regarding being and non-being, WHICH COME FROM JAPANESE ZEN BUDDHISM.
The bad people will only see what they want to see, regardless of what you tell them.
