Project Natal Better Be The Best Thing Ever, Or a Big Waste of Money.
Microsoft Better Not Fail at this.or...... Bill Gate still makes alot Money, so dose't really Matter.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Announce that Natal was a hoax intended to psyche out Sony and trick them into investing in the Move. That'd be the best way to start it off. But the only way to seal the deal would be to follow it up by announcing a game that doesn't look terribly bland, and I don't think they have it in them.
Will they already have Halo, Fable, and Gears, so it's gonna be pretty big. I don't care for any of the three, honestly. If they can manage to make Natal not suckish, then they have a decent chance at winning.
The Game.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.
They could win by announcing a portable system. This year will be all about the 3DS and rumored PSP-2... well after all this hype for junk like Natal and Move tapers off. All three companies have heavy hitting games lined up (along with surprises obviously) so it's the hardware we haven't seen (3DS, PSP successor) that will decide the so-called "winner".
Really unless Microsoft pulls out a Insane Hat Trick for Natal and blows everyone away Im thinking they might end up on the bottom of the E3 list this year. Gears of War 3 and Halo Reach is what sequel number 6 and Fable 3. See what I did there, banking on sequel after sequel after sequel. Not that sequels arent great as they usually are, but Natal is apparently ALL Microsoft has going for the 360 outside of sequels. I know Natal isnt for me, as after about 15 minutes of Wii Balance Board and I was like screw this crap, drop in another game and starting playing something less stressful lol. Looks like it will be fun to try but not purchase.
........... Please dont take that comment as fanboy hate. Its just opinion, but I am afraid that Microsoft has really been hurt by loosing Bungie and Bizarre Creations as exclusive devs. Halo and Gears are Incredible, but to me Fable is a genre with so much promise but doesnt come close to reaching its potential. I think it fails to because of Microsoft doing what they continue doing and that is rushing devs to develop to get games on the market. To do what Fable could be and be AWESOME it would prob take five year or so of development and I just dont see Microsoft allowing that. Or maybe the losses they had this year will wake them up and start letting there devs develop the way they want too and bring back originality to Microsoft games that dont have you jumping and kicking at a camera.
