These game selections are so random, at least the first party games they show like Yoshi’s island and Crash Bandicoot are distinguishable and not some random game from who knows where
I got curious and checked if the games are user submitted or if it's just one random guy/group doing these. They do have a way to submit your own suggestion. Maybe everyone just suggested their favorite obscure game they could think of.
I also found this in their about section: "We try to have a selection of different games from different genres, eras, and platforms. We also try to have a mix of games that are well known and games that are more obscure. Generally our harder games are on the weekends, and our easier games are on weekdays."
I personally think the selection of games has been really hard lately regardless of the day of the week.
