Topic: GT5 delayed yet again.

It doesn't really bother me because I have New Vegas to play which will take at-least two weeks to complete which will then bring me very close to Black Ops and then that will last me a year or more since COD is addicting but BS. Anyway! (LOL I win)
but really, I feel bad for those who wanted to buy it on November 2nd-3rd, it will be out by the end of December though.

Of course... I as actually going to preorder this, until I realized LBP2 as coming out the same month. I never preordered that either.

I still havent picked up the PSP GT yet, and a delay means they got extended funding to put more polish and content in the game, its just a bigger win for gamers. Always remember that, especially if its a massive triple A title such as Gran Turismo. When it comes out much quicker than you expected then worry.

LBP2 has been delayed to January 2011.
And I agree, I don't get angry when games are delayed because i know they will be better polished.

Maybe not. In only one month you can't polish very well a ame that has been in development for more than three years. It seems the delay is just to avoid competing in november with Assassin's Creed Borther Hooud, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Medal of Honor and so on.

@Zoipi.... its very possible, I think with GT5 though they will continue to polish, the budget for this game is higher than they will profit already Im sure, they will make there money from the car compaines the game advertises for mostly Im guessing. GT5 will be a Beast!

I always disliked Gran Turismo... It always felt so scripted...

I like to feel that way though. And sometimes it does help.
Rumor has it that it's because GT5 was built on the Firmware 3.41 SKD and they have to update it.
But smart choice because Black Ops is gonna sell out everything.

The developer's are going to die of old age before we get this game anyway. That's why I haven't bothered. How many years has it been since GT4?

Five years. But the time between the most recents Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo been four years or so.

Not seeing anything strange. Also, this is understanding because Polyphony Digital has to work in a new and more complex hardware. You know how many developers hate to program in PS3 and their eight cells that make them divide the code to work perfectly in the eight cells?

Well this time is liscense issues apparantely. Considering the amount of cars and the fact that there is now Nascar, WRC, Formula and then all the other GT races at play, there are a lot of people to keep happy before releasing this monster of a game.

This game will be way bigger the pro logic. I hate pro logic for the amount of content over price. I mean really 40 bucks when it first came out and it was seriously lacking most of the features that gran turismo is know for! This game should have been out 2 years ago and Microsoft is doing very well with there series so far (fordza)!
