it's weird how much I prefer getting other games instead of Animal Crossing.
I'm the same way, but for me it's because I've played the heck out of the first two games in the series, so I've really just had enough of them for a while.
I'm will be getting Silent Collection HD Resident Evil Revelations Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
Whoa, did not know they were making an HD collection for that. Always wanted to play the Silent Hill pre-Homecoming games. Oh and Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is the best deal in video games, seriously!

Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception
Batman Arkham City (do I need to play Arkham Asylum first to understand the story?)
Jak and Daxter HD Collection (I haven't played these games yet, but I love Naughty Dog's other titles, so a win for me?)
MotorStorm series (any of them, I'm not picky)
Yeah, I have seen God of War Collection still on the shelves. You don't need to play Arkham Asylum before Arkham City. These games give you so much information and backstory (if you find the Riddler trophies and read the info) that it is ridiculous!

So they're kind of like Metroid Prime? You uncover documents and such that explain the backstory of the game & comics?
Since I got an N64 recently, I'll probably be buying a lot of games for it this year. I'll be getting all the 1st party titles for the 3DS, and of course Xenoblade on the Wii (and The Last Story... if we get it). Most of my games are bought on a whim, I usually don't plan for games unless they're new releases.
