It's a shame there's no mention of a Wii U version, but I've contacted them and received an answer that they would like to bring the game to the console in the future. Maybe if enough people asked them, they could end up adding a stretch goal? I think it's worth a try, because the game looks (and sounds) amazing.
Well I e-mailed them about a Wii U version and they said they didn't have the money for a Wii U version... I thought that was the purpose behind Kickstarter, to get money for something you can not fund yourself. Well if the Wii U gets added as a stretch goal or something I might throw in some money.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
It's gorgeous, but have they not released their other kickstarter game yet? How do they have the resources to work on both games at once
I'm not sure, but I think Midgar Games is more akin to a publisher/facilitator than a developer. Hover, for example, is being developed by a company named Fusty Games, even though Midgar is responsible for the Kickstarter project. For what it's worth, the developer teams listed on each game are not the same.
