I know a lot's going on with the next-gen consoles and all, but as a mostly PC gamer, I'm actually seeing more exciting stuff in the PC world that's taken my focus away from the consoles. Basically, I was wondering if anybody here is thinking about jumping into DOTA 2 now that it's officially released and maybe has some tips? I tried playing the beta just a bit, but like LoL, it seems extremely difficult to grasp and get into without everyone else on your team ridiculing you. I was also wondering who else is pumped for EQ Next (rumored to be unveiled at SOE's conference in August) and Elder Scrolls Online.
I'd be interested in Elder Scrolls if it was structured more like a regular Elder Scrolls game. But from what I'm seeing, it's more or less WoW with Elder Scrolls lore and combat/general gameplay. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's just not something that interests me.

Yea, I'm really on the fence about it. If EQ Next turns out to be even slightly awesome (bit of an exaggeration, but I hold the Everquest franchise near and dear to my heart) that's where you'll probably find me. Anybody else excited for the game?

Yep, you pretty much just summed up my thoughts on this title quite well. :3

It's long and it comes across as a bit unwelcoming, but it's pretty much required reading for newbies.
Thank you very much! I'm still practicing against bots (I suck haha) in the training mode, and i've been watching Youtube guides like crazy. I knew coming into things that it was gonna be tough to get "good" and be accepted by the community. I heard LoL community is even harsher, though. But at any rate, I have lots of practice ahead of me!
