Topic: Do you buy games with or without your backlog in mind?

I’m all too aware that I have a backlog, and it doesn’t factor in much when I buy new games (or double, triple, even quadruple dipping…). Oh sure, I know I’m adding to the pile, but if I really want something I’m gonna get it.

There isn’t much I buy at release these days. It’s either got to be something that’s really special to me (like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth) or have a collectors edition I really want to get my hands on (like… Final Fantasy VII Rebirth). But sales or coming across a used copy of a game I want at a good price will always tempt me to add to the pile!

I don't buy more games until I finish the ones I already have. It's a waste of money to me. Luckily, my backlog isn't that big anymore.
