Topic: City of Heroes - Free!

I played the MMO City of Heroes for like 2 years. I tried out Champions Online and WoW recently and neither one of them seemed to be as fun as COH was for me. I've decided to go back to COH and start a new Super Group on a server that has more people than the current server all my characters are on. Anyone on this board play City of Heroes? If so, let me know and I'll make a toon on your server.

Only bump I will give. It's a fun game, if you are looking for a different type of MMO other than the WoWs out there it really is great. Plenty of customizing as well, including creating your own story arc (missions/levels).

I would enjoy getting into a good MMO, but unless you wanted to pay for my subscription...?

Freedom is one of the most active heroes servers and the one I am on.
Virtue is the server I am on for Villains.

I get all my MMO love at Guild Wars, sorry.

Ah sweet. I remember it being announced. But yeah, I'm more into Guild Wars because I love the structure of it. And I'm not even into MMOs. But GW, something is special about it

Anyhow, I played a free trial of it when I got GW and I actually liked it. Loved the customizations and so many options.

I saw where Star Trek Online is going to be free to play as well. So is World of Warcraft up to level 20.

DC Universe I believe is also going F2P on both the PS3 and PC her soon as well.

Yeah, city of heroes/villains is better in my opinion though. DC Universe bored me what I played of it.

I never got a chance to try DCUO cause I didnt have the money for it when it came out plus I am already paying 15 bucks a month for WoW so I really didnt want to pay 15 bucks for another game, so I might check it out when it goes F2P.

I did play Champions Online and I have to say I do like CoX alot better than that game.
