Counter-Strike Source is the "enhanced remake" of the classic Counter-Strike, it uses the Source engine, giving it better graphics and physics, while still running pretty much everywhere. Chances are, if you can run Steam, you can run most Source games lol.

I was wondering about this myself, but I have no clue as to whether I would get much play time out of it. I'm waiting for Day of Defeat: Source to go on sale for $5 now

If your PC can run Windows XP at least, it can run Counter-Strike Source... look at the minimum specs, they are the same as those of Windows XP lol

Except for the CPU, but chances are that you are using a Pentium IV or equivalent so that minimum speed is pretty much a given lol

Counter Strike flippin' rocks! Always has, always will. That game has given me sooo many hours of enjoyment (and pain). D: _{damn you pesky terrorist's!!!}

I used to have it and it rocked, though I was always personally fonder of Black Hawk Down for some reason.

I got it, but finding it hard to get into. I have finally found a pretty good server at least and am just trying to get used to everyone knowing every part of the map that I have no knowledge of. Most servers I go into I get sniped almost instantly, just not fun at all.
