Just like the dream cast I find that arenanet's mmorpg franchise guild wars is great but not really given the credit thatis rightfully theirs. There isn't anything wrong about it, the pop is boss, and it has an amazing sequel coming out soon ( which will own old republic and wow into the depths of the pit of sarlack (or whatever that thing was from star wars 6 ). So I was wondering will I be the only NL player who will be killing dragons or will there be anyone to fight alongside with me?
My wife and I play Guild Wars. I was on hiatus from it for a while but started playing again a few weeks ago. It almost seemed like a brand new game because of all the changes since last I played. The introduction of 7-hero teams was a pleasant surprise and I think I finally got my group set up correctly last night. A few more pieces of gear and runes and I should be straight to roll through the rest of the campaigns. Factions and Eye of the North are two I've completed already.
My primary focus is working on my Hall of Monuments so I can unlock the free Guild Wars 2 gear. So far I'm 11/30 which means I've unlocked the complete Heritage armor set, Gnarled Walking Stick, Living Short Bow, Orange Tabby Mini-Pet, Fiery Dragon Sword, and Diamond Aegis. I've still got a long way to go though. I think my next task will be getting the last 20 or so Amber Chunks for my Kurzick Armor. That should unlock another 2 points/items. I despise farming so I'm not a very rich player which means I'll need to work extra hard to catch up. So far, my wife hasn't really been interested in the HoM but that may change as Guild Wars 2 approaches. I'll still acquire the items for her as well just in case.
I love Guild Wars (and all its customization). Still, it's a bit overwhelming but I'm slowly getting back into the swing of it.
Oh man I played like CRAZY and got all the games except for Eyes of the North.
I was mainly a PvE guy, and played with friends and did all the story quests. That caused me to not play as much as I used too but GW2 is probably one of my most anticipated online games right now.

oh man I haven't played that in FOREVER!!! great game that my best friend got me into, I don't know if I will be playing GW2 or not when it comes out as I am currently MASSIVELY obsessed with Star Trek Online, but I'll certainly be giving it a look
If you're interested in unlocking additional free starter gear for Guild Wars 2 and you haven't already filled your Hall of Monuments in Eye of the North, you may want to pop back on long enough to check it out. You may have accumulated quite a few items already during the course of your previous gaming without realizing it.
The Canthan New Year festival started yesterday if anyone is interested in participating. I'm still a little fuzzy on how it works with the cooks and the finale, but I am making an effort to get my Celestial Dragon mini-pet.
Well, the Canthan New Year festival is over. Sadly, I didn't acquire a Celestial Dragon. However, late Saturday, I finally figured out how to do Lunar Token runs and managed to amass quite a few of them. Before this passed weekend, the richest I've ever been in Guild Wars is around 45 platinum (88 in pre-searing). I now have around 380k sitting in my stash. I HATE farming but this paid off like crazy. I think I can now fund a bunch more of my HoM trophies.
