When Capcom showed their fancy new demos every month for the mega man legends 3 beta you couldn't help but be exited. A cool new Mega Man legends, a cool character with cool glasses, a cool bike, and a cool companion to boot. It seemed like torture to see the prototype leave but once gamers tried to get the creator to go back and make the game things just got worse. So know we're stuck with the 2 old ones and a bunch of MML3 trailers which we will never be able to experience. And the sad thing about this game was that it got me interested again in mega man and started playing though mega man games and flipping out at dive man in mega man 4 every time I had to face all the robot masters. while looking though the legends games though I noticed that Mega man is pretty good around women, And it dawned on me who would make a better girlfriend for Mega man? Who do you guys think it should be? I think Samus because their both bad-Hee-haw-s with arm canons

There are so many different Mega "Men" that it's rediculous. It would be like having a different version of Mario in every game.
The only real Mega Man is the Blue Bomber from the NES games (the "Classic" series).
I always considered Mega Man X to be a bigger brother of sorts, since he was also created by Dr. Light (Mega Man's surrogate father).
@ Waveboy Now it seems like Mega man 10 was our fairwell game. Kinda like a last hurrah. Inafune was probably thinking of leaving Capcom right around the time MM 10 was finished. I'd love another 8-bit entry myself. Heck I'd keep buying them until doomsday cause I'm such a big fan. Sadly it's becoming more apparent that Capcom just doesn't care anymore. Mega man's daddy left and now they don't know what to do with him. Guess all we can do now is wait and hope.
