@jwfurness: the first one i enjoyed even if on the very simple side and even though it combined the 2 things i hate most (airship levels and smb3), the second one boo's frightening float and fly i enjoyed enough to give a star but i think it might need more, spiky towers i enjoyed only 1 thing i would suggest changing and that's switching the plants with spiny's just to keep up with the theme since their kind of spiky, piranha pit good challenge and fair to boot, pipe dream was a bit confusing but I took the high route in the sky but not confusing as in how to do just to with that name but i guess its cause of the pipes in the sky but might i suggest a small boss battle making a boss out of the dif creatures as in no bowser's.

Like everyone else, I'd love to get some feedback/plays/stars on the 5 levels I've created so far. I'm trying to stay true to traditional mario tropes. Each level has a theme, and I tried to build the stage around that. Some are more high concept than others. Also, I think they can be challenging, but always fair (never stick you in a situation that you can't get out of). Thanks!

Good morning! Longtime Nintendo Life fan, first time poster. (Been lurking the forums for awhile checking out people's levels, and I must say that I'm severely impressed.)
Here are a few of the levels I've created in Super Mario Maker so far:
"SMB3: Watch Your Step Cavern" - 2A4E-0000-0028-7052
"NSMB: Lava Ride Castle" - 9EC9-0000-0028-7714
"SMB: Up, Up, and Away" - 572D-0000-0028-8657
"NSMB: Slip and Slide Cave Climb" - DF3B-0000-0032-1BE2
"SMB: Kid Icarus Retro Homage" - 238C-0000-003F-945B
The first 3 are more like typical levels you might see in a Mario game - hidden blocks, sublevels, etc. Just good old platforming fun.
The 4th one is a tad more challenging and will test some of your platforming skills. Also, I used some of the special effects in SMM to add to it.
The last one, I hadn't created an amiibo level yet, so I did a "tip of the hat" to old school Kid Icarus with the Pit amiibo. It's not too hard at all, but fun. Couldn't really do the thing in the original Kid Icarus where the screen wrapped, but I wanted to use the verticality, doors, and try to create the right atmosphere in parts.

@Undead_terror: just finished it and it's ok though i don't think i did it right since i think i skipped over everything but looking at what you used in the picture i would say it great especially with what you put in might i suggest you unlock the Luigi mushroom that i have by beating all 4 Nintendo world championship levels like i did for more level possibility's.

@edgedino: Well if you jumped over the building then ya you would have skipped most of it, I got the Luigi shroom unlocked already, just trying to get more stuff to add to the level and it will be improved upon, then I would probably make something else just as fancy looking I guess.
I finally finished and uploaded my next level, Legalize Ranch! It's a Super Mario Bros. 3 level and I'm really proud of it. I tried to tone down the difficulty level in this one so everyone can enjoy it. Please play it?
also my level codes and no automation ones either there is a mario kart boos manstiin one too forgot code look it up on my in game name jurrretty, and yes i do play other lvs and star when i like them etc always looking for fellow mario games who can come up with challenging but fun and creative ones too, i do like a few autos but i like playing the game more than watching it
