I think I'll start updating my HR in my sig, like I see a lot of people doing...

I'm getting online now. Any other hunters are welcome to join me.

I have a..... sad weekend ahead of me so I won't be able to go online at all until monday.

Guess I'm going on in a few...gonna be working on Gobul's armor still, Barroth is next...then 5 star quest stuff...

So I was in this amazing room with these awesome guys and we were pwning high Lagiacrus, and we almost had him down...

...and I friggin' D/C. I tried to get back on but I couldn't connect, so I'm mega angry right now. >.<

This has happened to me on so many of my urgent quests it's unbelievable.

I was hoping to be on for a while but plans changed in RL, lol. Well, maybe in a half hour or so I might go back online...but will be gathering materials from low rank Gobul to finish armor. Depending on the time after that, I might try and collect stuff from Barroth as well.

Me and a friend were trying to find a city with peoples in it, and we found one that said "beginners welcome", but there were two high rank guys in there. We went in, and found that they were fighting high rank G. Jaggi, so we waited. After what seemed like a year, they finally came out. We greeted them, and got no response, so I asked them if they would care to do some low rank quests. Still no response. Then my friend said, "cat got your tounge?", and finally they said something: "shut up freaks!". Seriously? Then after more silence, they left with no words. Weird...

What's also wierd, is that I just realized that the little word-guesser thingy on the opera browser on-screen keyboard has the names of all of the I-III gen pokemon. >_<

@gaminguy Welcome to the topic. We will gladly help you out. Just a sugestion though. You might want to do all the 1 and 2 rank quests offline before you jump online. Get some armor upgrades and then you will be properly ready for online. Online is much harder then offline even with a team. You dont want to be the one who always dies and have to restart the quest.

@gaminguy: Adding to what Tech said, you will also want to learn how to capture monsters, which you do in the 1 and 2* quests. By then you'll also maybe have some armor, and a good weapon(hopefully). Also, you may want to go to GameFAQs and read the Monster Hunter Tri online guide/FAQ, to learn some online etiquette. It taught me a lot. I can't post a link because I'm on my Wii's Internet Channel.

Not to mention items and how to use some of them glares at tech, lol.

I dunno yet...thinking about eating first. But if I do go online I'll be working on Barroth armor...probably go after Rathalos after that then finish up....erm, I lost track, am I at 5 star quests now? lol

Actually, I've played the game before, just not bought it. I had never played a monster hunter game or knew a ton about it and people said it's not for everyone, so I gave it a quick rental. So I already have played some and know the basics, have some armor and a weaopon that is reliable. (I also know how to capture) I am getting a cc pro with this and was wondering about a usb keyboard. Where do you get ti, how expensive, andhow does it work?

Plug it into usb port on back of wii. Then you type. comes in handy a lot when you're hunting and need to talk fast

I have both a usb keyboard and that controller pro thingy. Forget how much the Pro costs, think its about $20 or around that. The keyboard varies...I mean, any usb keyboard will work...so it depends. And the Pro is a lot better than a regular Classic, so, yeah.

EDIT: K, well I guess I won't be going on right now since someone took the TV. Will be going on tonight though when I move the Wii back to my computer, lol.
