Got both priced matched at Walmart yesterday: barbie $28 verses paying $30 & Patrick $21.87 verses paying $40. They priced matched it because it said shipped & sold by Walmart on there website. Hope this helps who ever goes there & wants to get the games cheaper. 🤷♀️🤣✌️
@FishyS Nice. I wanna get it too, but it's about as expensive as any standard physical I've seen in the UK - about £52.
Does it seem like a game you could play endlessly like some do with Animal Crossing?
For some reason the cheaper version ( $40 US) is digital-only. The physical version has a bunch of 'deluxe' furniture options which seems very unnecessary.
Honestly even the digital version was a bit more than I wanted to pay but I was in desperate need of a cute comfy game right now and don't regret getting it. It is super adorable.
I'm only a few hours in but so far it doesn't actually feel like it will be an endless game. The game isn't real-time and it has a definite plot arc. As you go through the story you unlock more regions, more island characters, more activities. I suspect at some point when all the main things are unlocked there will be a ton of things to do, but it may not be gripping enough to keep doing them. It definitely has the vibe of a mobile rpg (though a good one) where the main story is fun, then you enjoy grinding for a bit afterwards, but then later only play during new events. It does force you to do the main stuff somewhat slowly because there is a maximum daily limit for some actions, so I suspect I'll play for quite a while, just probably not near animal crossing levels. Which is ok honestly; I'm enjoying my time and this is sort of a filler game for me while waiting for Nintendo to give us a new Animal Crossing and if it ends I'll get fantasy life i or something else.
Tale of Graces f Remastered which i bought from Walmart online just last week it arrived earlier this morning so Ill be playing that game sometime in March
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble. I wouldn't say it's as good as the first two, but it's the closest Sega has come to the greatness of those since disbaning or restructuring Amusement Vision.
Fire Emblem: Engage. I'd always figured I would get around to Three Houses one of these days, but then my kids got interested in the series due to Smash Bros, and then FE: Warriors. I figured the "saturday morning cartoon" plot, and character callbacks through emblem rings would be more up their alley than "morally grey political intrigue". So far we've all been loving it.
@yoshi420 I have an 8bitdo sn30 also. It doesn't feel quite as good to me as pro controller and the lack of being able to wake up Switch is mildly annoying but for some finicky Platformers, Pro Controller is awful and 8bitdo works great.
