I never bought the first one, but kept thinking about it, because let's be honest, I really did wish I could play some of those games in those fake mobile game ads. I heard mixed feelings on that game though so I never went for it. Then I find out that a sequel randomly popped up... https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/yeah-you-want-thos...
Has anyone ever bought these games before? What's the sequel like compared to the first? Should I finally just go for one of them? (or both...maybe, lol)

Looks like a good laugh when played with a friend. I never played the first one but I don't think you can go wrong for 10 American dollars which is roughly 9 euros.
I didn't buy the Switch game but I have played most of the sub-game types on mobile. Pretty much all of them on mobile are super addictive for like 20 minutes and then try to make you buy something and then are agonizingly boring after like an hour or two. 😆 In my experience anyways. Although the collection looks humorous... not sure if I could stand playing those game styles again even as a spoof.
@Joeynator3000 I suppose it depends on the game and person but I think a common trend is that when you get bored of a lot of these games you get REALLY bored. Like 'never let me see this game again' bored. Unlike something like e.g. Candy Crush where you can get bored but maybe play again a month later. Fundamentally, these games are not high quality but were designed to be temporarily addictive. They're basically chemically flavoured sugar water games.
That's not to say the humorous Switch collection is necessarily bad — it might be an entertaining way to get a taste of those games without having to play the real versions.
...I thought the real versions didn't exist. >.> lol
I still don't understand how that meme started. Like... the app stores are covered with them and there are plenty of ads. I can understand calling them 'fake games' but did someone misunderstand and think that meant they were literally fake rather than just shabby? 😆 Like a weird translation issue that led to a meme that led to actual advertisements joking about the meme of themselves not existing which led to... this meme game you're talking about buying. 😝
I don't know...I just saw videos on it before and people tried some of these games and even they said they got something completely different when they downloaded and tried the game. lol
I never bothered with the games myself, lol
