Topic: Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition Event Theater Loading (Possible Glitch)

So I've been messing around in the event theater in XCDE and I've encountered a possible glitch. I changed the appearance of all current party members and changed the time to night. The party memebers in the cutscene are Shulk, Reyn, and Dunban. The cutscene is the one at the end of (I believe) Chapter 2 when Shulk and Reyn leave Colony 9. Shulk is equipped with the Monado II, the Monado style head, chest, and bottom pieces, and the Prodigal type gear on the arms and legs. Dunban's only change to his default Colony appearance is the lack of an eye patch and the Eryth type gloves. Reyn has the Ledgar type outfit except for his legs which is the Titan type and a Rusty Guarder. I started the cutscene about thirty minutes as of writing and the screen is still loading.

20 minutes later and it's still loading. I'm gonna have to reset the game.

No problem on my side.. Did you even update before loading? Or Restarting the system.

@SwitchForce After resting the game I replicated the conditions and the cutscene played normally. I think the problem is possibly just having the game on too long. I've been playing this game non stop without closing it. Only putting the console in sleep mode until I picked it back up again. So I think the game just had enough and needed a reset. And yes my game is up to date.

@Thundertron55 sometimes a restart helps and have you vacuum the vents with the Switch off to remove dust bunnies.
