@seaboyluca they are good but my favourite is still Tora (I know is a very unpopular oppinion...) as I find him genuilly funny and heartwarming in its relationship with Poppy. The pervert part does not bother me as I watch anime on a fairly regular base and I have been vaccinated to it since master Rochi in the 90's lol
@Balta666@SugarKane
I've never been a big fan of Riki and Tatsu.
Tora was a big step up for the Nopon I believe. He's funny and a bit of a pervert but I kind of like him, even though he always gets replaced by either Morag or Zeke later in the game (can't be bothered with Poppiswap).
Well I smashed through XC DE, Future Connected, Torna, and wrapping up XC2 with a few days before release and my hype level is 1000%
I pretty much tried to 100% everything in the games except the super bosses but at like 160+ hours with XC2 i'm running out of time so I just need to push through to the end.
So my hope for XC3 is that they cleaned it up and i'm not going in and out of the menu every 2 minutes 5000 times and there's a lot of stuff to do but it's not stupid tedious stuff that's not going to waste your time unless you're looking up a guide.. I don't like guides
@SugarKane I had the same thought about Riki and grew to like him a lot by the end, that late-game conversation with Dunban man. @seaboyluca@Balta666 I definitely warmed up to Tora a little later, although I think I do like Riki, Kino, and Nene more. He's definitely better than Tatsu though lol, I found him to be quite annoying. The ponspectors were pretty good as a whole too, their attacks were so broken.
I'm hoping Xenoblade 3 doesn't try to get rid of them though, we've seen a bit less of them so far besides Riku and Manana, who aren't main party members, the race has really grown on me and is kind of a staple for the series. Live on nopon!
Games I'm playing right now:
OoT N64
DK64 N64
Lego LotR Wii
Spirit Tracks DS
TotK Switch
If my Nintendo store pre-order doesn't arrive on release day, I am going to be so tempted to buy the digital version. Has anyone who ordered the special edition received tracking information?
1. What is Xenoblade Chronicles' story about? Is it a good story?
2. Is XC3 a good place to start for newcomers?
3. Do the games have multiple routes/endings?

@kennykenny
I saw on your profile that you're from the US, so you should be good. As always though, deliveries might be a couple of days late. I'd prepare myself to be disappointed, just in case.
@Maxenmus
1. All 3 games have different stories with different characters, set in different worlds. The main themes of the series are war, control, destiny and faith. While XC2's story got a bit too convoluted for my taste, I still liked it. XC1's is one of the best RPG stories ever imo.
2. XC3 will have a lot of references to both XC1 and XC2. Though I'm sure newcomers will be just fine playing XC3 first. They'll probably miss out on some of the nuances though.
3. No.
Oh my God a 10/10?! That actually makes this the best Xenoblade game! (according to Nintendolife) Once again my hype for this game continues to explode! I can't wait to see the scores from other places!
10/10, huh? You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.
Despite what I said earlier, a good story is usually enough to get me to get into a game franchise, especially if it received worldwide acclaim. I'll put the first game on my wishlist.

The game currently holds 89% on Metacritic.
I'm hearing runtimes between 80 and 150 hours depending on how many side quests one does, zones are the biggest ever, gameplay has never been this good and performance outdoes all the previous games.
All my hopes and dreams seem to come true here. Can't wait!
