@Matthew010, I know @darkfenrir answered most of your questions, I just figured I'd give them a once over.

• Titans are the game's regions. Think Lanayru, Akkala, Hebra, Central Hyrule, etc. in Zelda, they're just not openly connected (They're handled more like the Kingdoms in Mario Odyssey, just with RPG gameplay).
• As for dungeons, it's a bit more complicated. Some chapters (like 2 or 4) do end with the type of dungeon setup you're probably thinking of, while others don't feature any dungeons, while the last few regions might as well just be dungeons in themselves.
• Battles take longer than in Zelda, but if you tackle them with the right strategy they shouldn't take too long (not even bosses). Monster Hunter on the other hand is pretty much "boss rush, the game", and that's certainly not what Xenoblade is.

@Late Is that legendary cores only? If so, how do other cores play into it? I still need to get KOS-MOS.

@NinjaAceTrainer From what I remember, if Common Cores are a 1x ratio, Rare is 1.5x and Legendary is 3x.

@EvilLucario Thank you, but I meant in terms of increasing the probability of getting KOS-MOS.

@NinjaAceTrainer With 999 Luck and level 10 Justice (because you're NOT going to have level 15 Justice at all times), you have a 0.61% chance of pulling KOS-MOS with a Legendary Core. With a Rare Core, you have a 0.305% chance.

If you pull 99 Legendary Cores, using binomial distribution you have a 45% chance of pulling KOS-MOS.

If you pull 99 Rare Cores, you have a 26% chance of pulling her.

If you pull 200 Legendary Cores, you have a 70% chance.

200 Rare Cores, 45%.

With the cutscene skipping update, pulling Blades that you want should be extremely easy, especially if you farm the Relentless Auduran.

@EvilLucario I am not familiar with binomial distribution, so does that mean that the probability actually increases with the more cores that you use, or that the probabilities that you listed were meant to show an indefinite probability which is just the likelihood of getting KOS-MOS by adding the number of times that you use a legendary core, multiplied by KOS-MOS’ pull chance. Looking at the numbers, the latter seems unlikely, but I am still quite unsure on how it works. I’ll research binomial distribution after writing this to try and understand.

Also on a side note, looking at the GameFAQs link that you posted, does that mean that ‘column’ 2 Is objectively the worst for getting rare blades, as it has a pity blade that has a higher chance on that column anyway? That seems kind of unfair, but I suppose there are no other blades that could be used instead of Azami.

@AlternateButtons Smash enemies. Particularly high level unique monsters. You can even grind the same unique monster over and over again, just make sure that you can complete a driver combo as easily as possible.

@NinjaAceTrainer The former. You can never get a 100% chance within X possibilities. You can get as close as possible at 99.9999999999999999999999999999% with an obnoxiously high number, but never a true 100%. 0.61% is 1/163, but that doesn't mean you'll get KOS-MOS within 163 pulls. In fact, as a general rule of thumb for anything, if you try an equal number of tries to the denominator, you have a 63% chance of getting that. So if you pulled 163 Legendary Cores, you'll only have a 63% chance.

@AlternateButtons Unique Monsters above level 60-70 tend to drop a lot of Rare Cores. Sometimes you can get Legendary Cores if you're lucky. But Unique Monsters above level 80+ love to drop them like candy, and those above level 100 has the best chances of getting Legendary Cores. The best Unique Monster for cores is the Relentless Auduran in Torigoth.

Also, every time you pull off a Driver Combo (Break -> Topple -> Launch -> Smash), you get awarded the enemy's normal loot you would have got if you killed it and a large HP potion. If you want to farm items from mobs, make sure you repeat Driver Combos over and over so you can milk it like a pinata.

Anybody know a good blade set up for Morag-sama that can allow her to pull off a driver combo alone? Kagutsuchi has break so that is one but it seems all the blades i have have one but not multiple status modifiers.

@Ryu_Niiyama Tora is the only Driver who can do a full Driver Combo solo. You can have everyone else fulfill 3 out of the 4, but if you want to do full Driver Combos on your own, play as Tora.

@Ryu_Niiyama After the upcoming update, every character might get access to a full combo. The 7 new Blades being introduced are also unique weapons.

That's a big if, but not entirely implausible. For now though, you need Tora to perform a full combo solo. But he's pretty OP anyway because his Break Art is the best in the game, as it rolls three times and not one. With a tier 3 Beta Scope, I can lock nearly every superboss (except the Artifice and Chickenheart Dagmara) completely for a good 30 seconds or longer, whereas using anyone else's Break Arts is more dodgy and can't Break as quickly.

@JaxonH Explains why she was my absolute last blade. And that's considering using over 40 legendaries, a ton more rares and a stupid amount of commons.

Was my last blade too. But of course, statistically even with a drastically lower base rate, some people will get her sooner by sheer luck. And that's why some people were like no, she is just as common as any other. But I knew better. 2 or 3 people getting her sooner versus entire threads of people saying she was the last or near the last... the random variation didn't add up

Getting the S+ grind on currently. Got like 7-8 Blades at S+.

Also gonna need to grind out Tyrannotitan for 99999 SP, just to get the jumpstart when NG+ comes out.

Then I need to max out everyone's Idea levels so they can do more damage too. That'll mean opening more cores on everyone else but Zeke (who's level 10 at everything) lol. Oh boy.
