You wanna tell me a cartridge that can hold 32GB and a full game is not worth 80, but a special edition that cannot hold the full game but gives you worthless limited digital money is worth 150 ?

Where did I say it wasn't worth it or the NBA game was worth £150?

My post never said that in the slightest

Hey, sorry. That wasn't directly pointed to you, but just to get a point across.

I find the whole situation in NBA 2K18, hilarious. And they repeat it in WWE 2K18.
It's nothing about the gameplay. I'd love to support them because they are high-tech quality games at their cores. I can even live with the freaking micro-transactions, but they should have put the game on a 32GB cartridge on the 100 dollar and 150 dollar editions.

Still no release date! Honestly I was looking forward to this more than Mario.

After the exceedingly high quality of NBA 2K18 on Switch, I feel no hesitation in purchasing WWE 2K18. Crazy wrestling back on Nintendo, and fully portable at that.

Apparently it's being shipped now but without a release date. On the plus side it works without the download.

The fact they're sneaking this game out without an official release date does make it look like their hiding something. I mean, they may not be but it does make me skeptical when they don't see to have the confidence to tell people when.

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

It has arrived! I downloaded the £80 version last night.

I haven't had a chance to look in depth but booted up a 1-1 match in portable mode. Hmm... Not too impressed. It seems to be running in slow motion. Not sure what's happened...

You are one brave dude. No previews/reviews. Announcing release date two days before.

You have balls for taking that gamble

@JamesR Was your experience with the patch downloaded? is there a day 1 patch at all? Cuz I thought it had a day 1 patch?

At work at the moment but will report back tonight. Also will compare against docked.

I can assure everyone that it is the best WWE game on the Switch! 😉

@kobashi100 the poster is correct and fair.

I noticed the slow down and the fact that loading times aren't bad.

Edit: I am surprised to see a lot of framerate and slowdown issues in the entrances. I played Bayley vs Sasha Banks and both appeared to be in slow-mo. The actual game wasn't as bad.

Definitely seems yukes should have scaled things back to get better performance

OK. I had a chance to play some more and have unfortunately hardened my position.

The game is broken. Framerate issues, audio breaks, the game freezing during the Rumble and other issues make me conclude that this should not have passed internal Nintendo quality assurance (and I have told them such).

People expecting this to be patched (like the various NBA 2k18 issues) are being unrealistic. NBA's initial problems were nowhere near as bad as this.

I caught Spawn Wave's news piece on this yesterday and it looks truly awful, irreparably so, which is a terrible shame because I was looking forward to playing it. NBA 2K18 is a lovely port, post-patch especially, but I don't see this capturing that level.

Truly disgraceful they released the game like this

Watched this video. It is pretty rough. This game is clearly not ready for a retail release.

This game runs as great as Yuke's best N64 wrestling games at 20fps.
