Hello, guys!

I am currently playing Breath of the Wild, but I feel like I need to take a break from it, because although I love it and am impressed by it, I find it very difficult at times and somewhat frustrating. Not saying it's something with the game, it could be just that I don't seem to find the right recipe to enjoy the game and have things flow.

That's why I wanted to ask you if you have any suggestions about what should I play from the following games: Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Mario Kart Deluxe 8, Final Fantasy Xll. These are the games that I have, but let me know if you have other ideas of different games.

What I am looking for is a game that engages me immediately, something not too complicated, where things flow easily and you feel yourself part of that game, forgetting how much time you spend there. Would really appreciate your suggestions.

I think Mario Odyssey fits your criteria best from the games you listed. It's easy to pick up and play but has a lot to explore and collect so you can lose yourself in it for hours if you want to. Plus it's just one of the best games on the Switch.

Odyssey without question. One of those games I wish I could play all over again for the first time.

@Bubu5000 Mario Odyssey is great!

Usually, when someone here says they won't play BOTW any more, there are some things they hadn't discovered that can give you a little help. You can cook a single radish for full health +3 hearts. You can also farm arrows from bokoblins on horseback. (disregard if you know that already).

@WoomyNNYes The thing is that I seem to be getting around with difficulties, don't find it easy to solve puzzles and had to go to YouTube for some challenges, including the first elephant. I couldn't even get hold of my horse after finally managing to mount on, he kept going left or right not doing what I asked him and stopping every couple of meters until I left it there and continued by my own. Even in some shrines I had problems and just couldn't get resolve them. It seems like I am always a couple of steps behind and running around in circles.

All this made me feel downbeat, and to this contributed what I have seen on YouTube when looking for a solution, because Link looked completely different there, had other clothes, weapons, and many other things like the many hearts or that extra boost of energy when he runs that I didn't have at that point of the game.

Thank you for all these suggestions, guys! Think I will start with Odyssey and then try again with Breath of the Wild.

In the meantime, can you guys please give me some tips on the original Zelda? I played it for a couple of minutes and from what I could tell, there's no way to save it during the game, so every time I run out of hearts I have to start from the beginning. Is that really so? And is the maximum number of hearts three? Is there an order I should start there or do I begin exploring? The thing is that the control buttons aren't that really clear to me.

I would use a guide for the original Zelda. It has little direction for the player, and most of the collectibles ( heart pieces, new tools, etc.) are behind random walls that have no distinguishable features.

I haven’t played the game myself, but Zelda Dungeon always does good guides. They are nice and clear, and break it up into chapters.
