The only thing I don't really like about the joycons that I know about is the IR sensor. I honestly can not see that having any use outside of the gimmicky sandwich eating game. I think they just got too excited packing so much stuff into the controllers that they forgot to ask, "when will this be useful for a game anyone makes?" If I have to stop playing a game so I can play Rock, Paper, Scissors with myself in order to continue, I will just be upset. It's made for party games to make shallow use of and that's it really.
I DO like the motion controls, however. Specifically because of how helpful they are with aiming. I hate aiming with an analogue stick, it's just so imprecise. The motion controls were just so great in Splatoon ind WWHD, so I'm glad they kept the feature. I think it's worth keeping, unlike the IR sensor.
Sega demanded it for the upcoming "Alex Kidd in Miracle World R".
It's the killer app for the IR sensor - look out for it at E3.
@JaxonH I've never had any need for a portable battery before but I will look to get one for when I fly back home in September. This is probably a daft question but how do they work exactly? Is it that a fully charged 10,000mAh portable battery will charge a 5,000mAh fully 2 times before needing charged itself? Or do you get more charges out of them?
@OorWullie It depends on the device you are charging. Note, however, as you use the power bank more often, the charging capability will start to gradually decrease. Use only when a charging device is out of power, and while is not in use.
Making promise is easy. The hard part is keeping it.

Yes, that is exactly how they works. (well, almost, you get some losses, but they are negligible)
@OorWullie
Ya pretty much nailed it. Anker makes a 21,600mAh one that's only 7" X 3" X 1" (give or take). That sucker would be good for 4+ Switch charges before needing to be recharged itself. It's $60 though and heavier. Figure 10,000mAh is plenty for 2 additional charges, which even at 3 hrs of Zelda makes 9 total hours at worst. 19.5 hrs max based on the 6.5
I never had one either but since Switch will need a case anyways may as well get one that fits in the case, and bam all battery worries solved, even if I probably won't use it more than 3 hrs anyways without an AC outlet
I'm bored. I want an argument. ll start it off. I think The Switch has the potential to change the gaming landscape forever and anyone who disagrees with me is just wrong! Come on, give me your best shot.

The Switch is just another OUYA
Does anyone know what's going on with Telltale games? I got excited about them being included in the fancy Nintendo's partners thing but it seems like it's just Minecraft Story Mode.

You're wrong. Nintendo will fail with the Switch concept completely. It may do well as a console but it won't change the industry. No, that'll happen when Sony inevitably releases the same device concept in 5 years. THAT device will change the gaming landscape forever. Remember, the new generation starts when Sony says it starts!

@BiasedSonyFan We'll see who laughs last when I'm sat on a bench freezing cold in Manchester playing Zelda on my switch when I'm supposed to be walking the dog I don't have. Good luck carrying your PS4, TV and portable generator onto a plane while I'm sat in business class playing MARIO kart table top mode. I'm even going back to university so I can sit in lectures with all my cool mates playing splatoon while your sat at home locked into your VR world while your body wastes away like in that movie I can't remember the name of.
@BiasedSonyFan No I suppose your right. When it comes to really enjoying a game experience the one thing that really matters is TFLOPS. I remember playing splatoon and I thought I was having a great time but then where was the TFLOPS? I just threw the thing at the wall and stormed out. I then realised I had a cup of tea on the go so I went back in and had a biscuit.
And don't even get me started on checkerboard rendering!
I know yall are messing around (Which is probably a sign of how delusional the internet makes us Nintendo fans when we dare go on there) but is a scarily accurate re-enactment of the actual arguments.
Anyhow carry on. Keep waving your teraflops around. Just know mine is 7 and yours is 4.2.
