I strongly believe that Nintendo still has few more surprises about the Switch. The only thing they would surprise me is that if they don't make a direct next month for the Switch.
Console releases in just over 5 weeks and you're expecting they're still hiding something?
Details about vc, online etc. sure, but actually surprises that might convince people to buy? Not a chance
Rather than any official announcements from Nintendo, my hope is that we start to see Nintendo Switch on 3rd party game trailers when they get newly announced. Is it too late to hope for Kingdom Hearts III?
@SLIGEACH_EIRE in fairness the Wii U did have third party support. We just didn't buy them in good enough numbers so they abandoned the console which although not great for Wii U owners does make commercial sense. I think what some of the people's issue with you is that everything you say about the switch is negative. Now don't get me wrong I know the switch isn't perfect but you are coming across as biased. They could announce that every switch comes with a free bar of gold and you would complain about the added weight. Nintendo goes their own way and this should be celebrated.
I'm expecting a Switch focused Direct for february (maybe between 12 and 25) for every aspect non game related, for example everyting about online: subscription, services, app, voice chat, cause Mario Kart is coming late April, and i don't think that this info can reach us after it
EDIT: i think this cause Reggie said that there's time between presentation and launch to get more info about kind of everything

You have seen some of the pretty cool game announcements over the past 2 weeks, right? I'm not saying that Animal Crossing was suddenly revealed or anything, but there have been some really nice surprises. Who's to say we won't get a decent amount more in the span of 5 weeks?
@shaneoh same! Saved the last few days of my annual leave for the Switch announcement. Have taken the 2-6 March off. Hopefully (doubtful) U.K. Nintendo store will do what if always does for amiibo and send my Switch and Zelda a day early!!
I can dream right!!!
We still could have announcements in February, and we have seen how slowly but surely the third parties have been announcing projects. Not in the most elegant manners - I'm looking at you Lego World - but at this point, I don't think we can be very picky.
@FGPackers Here's your answer from Q&A about the game:
If I own Shovel Knight on another platform, can I get the game on a new platform like the Nintendo Switch for free?
No, but that’s part of the reason we’re making these changes! Hopefully, it’ll be easier to jump in on a new campaign on any system of your choosing.
I really hope there is some sort of cross-buy scheme for this title. Even if it's just a heavy discount. Because I have the game on Wii U and 3DS so as much as I love the game I'm not getting it a third time.

Rocket League dev excited about Switch, but unsure if the game will be on Nintendo’s console
Psyonix, the developer of Rocket League, has expressed interest in Switch. However, the team isn’t committing to the console just yet.
“We are excited as you are regarding the release of Nintendo Switch however, we don’t have enough information at this time if it will happen. For the mean time, let’s both keep our fingers crossed that it will. For all the latest information on upcoming releases, updates, and other news, please visit the Rocket League Facebook page or follow us on Twitter!”
This means that Switch games can exclude and support different modes depending on what the developers intend for the game. Which means, we might see "mode exclusive" games for the Switch, or at least, mode exclusive features for Switch games. This opens up more possibilities and control options for Switch games. This means we could see touch controlled games only playable in Handheld mode, or co-op games only playable in Tabletop mode. The possibilities are endless
@Luna_110
We have a busy month ahead of us, with major video game publishers posting their quarterly results. Whether it's announcements for new titles, or comments on possible Switch support. I'm sure 3rd-parties will have a lot more to say about the Switch this time.
It's worth highlighting Nintendo's Financial Results Brieifing on Feb 1st. As usual, there will be a presentation from the company's president, followed by a short Q&A session. I think we should expect to see a more extensive launch-window lineup, a revised shipment forecast, and more details on the online system.
@G0dlike
No harm in dreaming, it could happen. I've got about 2 weeks of leave built up (more by the time the Switch arrives), but I felt that one day off was enough. I like to have a bit of buffer in case things happen.
I'm really hope My Nintendo will be doing at lot of discounts-freebies on Switch virtual console games or download games, all of my gold coins have started expiring and I've got nothing to spend them on!
Just read on the express.co.uk site that switch preorders are already ahead of PS4 day one sales in some territories. The big question is whether Nintendo have the stock to satisfy the demand? Probably not, but I have mine secured so alls good. http://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/gaming/758541/Nintendo...
