Now that' I'd definitely spend extra money on!

No. I want analogue.

Except Super Mario Sunshine, Smash Bros. Melee and racing games, I don't see any use for the analouge triggers.

Analog sticks can be an alternative, though.

@Azooooz I've never enjoyed having to use a thumbstick to control acceleration in a driving game.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

I personally don't have an issue with there not being analogue triggers for racing games. I do have a problem with not having a D-Pad for 2D platformers. Especially if I'm using one Joycon. That SNES themed Joycon mockup I did above? I would get that in an instant. But I guess I'm the guy with Bowser from Super Mario Kart as my Avatar....

For sure. If the growing list of launch games has been any indication, there's definitely much more they haven't told us. Also, we pretty much NEED to get more details on the online if they expect people to eventually pay for it, and I'd prefer to get that info BEFORE the console is sitting by my TV lol

But, as always, it is Nintendo, so who the heck knows.

A D-pad could theoretically be analog if it is pressure sensitive. But it would work better with the 360 D-pad (the circular one).

Speaking of, it's worth pointing out this screen from the site for Ultra Street Fighter 2 on Switch:

You can connect to the Internet and enjoy "rank match" "casual match". In "Rank Match", "Player Point (PP)" and "Battle Point (BP)" increase or decrease according to the outcome. "Casual matches" can fight easily without being influenced by points.

· Quick match
Search for players that can fight without setting conditions.
· Custom match
Set conditions and look for your favorite battle player.
· Create match
Create a lobby that sets rules of battle for yourself, and wait for your favorite battle players to participate.
· Friend match
Look for currently playable players from the registered friends.

If there was any doubt about being able to go online without the app

DualShock 2 and 3 d-pads are analogue/pressure sensitive!

All good points, but I don't want to be stuck on a 45 degree setup for my movement in most games. I like the fact that we can walk 12 degrees to the left, so to speak.

It's not about the analogue quality we have in pressure for me, but in direction. I love the fact that switch has that on both ends now.

I don't know if posted already, but good news, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is a launch digital game for Nintendo Switch, retail version is coming soon. However, it's not necessary to be launched with the Switch, as it's stated that it's in "Launch Window".

@Azooooz Any news about eventual price if anyone bought game on Wii U and want to "port" it to Switch?

FGPackers

Azooooz

@FGPackers Here's your answer from Q&A about the game:

If I own Shovel Knight on another platform, can I get the game on a new platform like the Nintendo Switch for free?

No, but that’s part of the reason we’re making these changes! Hopefully, it’ll be easier to jump in on a new campaign on any system of your choosing.

@Azooooz That was my fear...i hope it will not be too much cause i don't wanna buy again the game

@FGPackers

Shovel Knight:Treasure Trove will launch at $24.99 and Specter of Torment on Switch will launch at $9.99. Others to be announced soon.

Console releases in just over 5 weeks and you're expecting they're still hiding something?

Details about vc, online etc. sure, but actually surprises that might convince people to buy? Not a chance
