Well watching Colin was Right, certainly was a depressing experience. But I can't see the Switch crashing and burning Wii U style. Jeez how about giving it a chance?
Wow, the hate boat sure is sailing well...for now.
I won't understand people who quickly jump into the conclusion. If this year is passed, and the Switch didn't pass 10M units, then I will admit that the Switch is a failure.
Making promise is easy. The hard part is keeping it.

"*On 3rd March, Nintendo Switch will be available in the following European territories: Austria, Andorra, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Hungary, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Russia, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Vatican. It will also be available in South Africa at the same timing."
...The Vatican?
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
The UI in that screenshot is the same layout we saw last week. That one had a grey background though,so it looks like it has at least some basic customisation.
@Whitewatermoose It looks to me like they're are trying to take advantage of the early adopters and small launch line up.I bet if Bomberman was released a year or 2 into the Switch's life,it would have come in a lot cheaper. It's £50 in the UK,that's ridiculous.I want to play it and support the 3rd parties but I'm not going to be taken advantage of.Bomberman can wait until there is at least 40% off.
Colin was Right, Pachter, Giant Bomb, and even IGN (remarkably) questioning Nintendo's direction and choices during the upcoming week.
Colin was Right just launched.
lol hangonhangonhangon ...
omg honestly I can't stop laughing.
So Colin Moriarty, the guy who used to work for IGN and is so far up Sony's rear that he probably hasn't seen daylight in a few years, has a series called "Colin was right"?????
When he was the one who predicted the Vita's massive, MASSIVE success???
Am I seeing this right? And, to top it off, you're using him as a SOURCE to support what you're saying?!
Okay, just in case anyone was still wondering, Nintendo's very own website confirms that you can add and manage your friends list on the Switch console itself.
Whew, that's a relief. I can deal with the voice chat thing.
Colin Moriarty. He's one of those 20-something (or probably 30-something at this point) year-old gaming "journalists" who used to work for IGN. If you frequented IGN's site a few years ago, you'd see a bunch of his articles and videos and stuff like that.
Anyway, he and some of his friends left IGN and started their own show/business/company/whatever, and they have a Twitch stream and YouTube channel where they basically just sit and pontificate on gaming and related "stuff" while leeching money from people who, for reasons I will never understand, seem to have no problem feeding it to them. WHEN they talk about Nintendo, which is not a whole lot, it's generally with a sense of derision, and their fanbase pretty much follows suit in a semi-rabid and completely ignorant manner.
Colin himself is most "famous" for his utter certainty that the PS Vita was going to be a massive success, and that it was going to wipe the floor with the 3DS. One of his best quotes is, "The Nintendo 3DS is certainly not going to take the Vita out with N64 ports and tired, worn series."
An interesting analogue to our ongoing Switch feelings can be seen in this quote, "For starters, PlayStation Vita has games." He was convinced it would succeed because, well...yea, you can read the quote. Connect the dots to what people are whining about with the Switch... add in some logic ... and poof! You get a pretty interesting study in how the internet is not always right. Fascinating.
I'm sure this was discussed already, but Netflix and other multimedia applications won't be available on the Switch at launch.
As long as it has a decent web browser I can wait. There is always some feature that appears a month after launch. Netflix and YouTube I can put up with not being on the unit day 1. Having them on the Switch will be great but it's not like I can't get those services on other devices.
For the first few weeks I'm going to be too distracted by Zelda to care anyways....

I didn't see anything that bad aside from all the "we have nothing to say". The console is out in less than two months Nintendo, we were hoping to have at least most of its information by now.
Other than that, cool to hear you can do some minor editing of the screen shots. When they allow us to capture video, I hope we can trim it where needed.
@Whitewatermoose
Some people are going to take the non-responses as a no. I think it's fair to say a lot of it is stuff that's inevitable. They're probably just tying to control the message as much as possible.
